I actually first got CLX extreme and was also wanting to get more cardio out my workouts. so I purchased Turbo Fire and in there sched booklet there is a CLX Extreme Hybrid workout which is like 20 weeks long and what it does is combine CLX Extreme and Turbo fire in together. I love it and it really helps break up the routine and gives you something different. I'm currently into my 10th week which is more geared with TF then Extreme so I was afraid I would lose the shape and definition of my arms so on my rest day I'll actually do one of the burn or push circuits. Anyway I love that work out and when I'm done with the 20 weeks I plan on starting it all over again. Hope this helps you out.
You will love CLX. I added in cardio especially because there are two scheduled rest days in the CLX program. Currently, I am doing a CLX/TJ/TF hybrid because some of the TF workouts are too intense for me since I have a lower back problem.
In my first CLX round, I lost 8lbs and several inches and this is while doing the modified version as I was just recovering from by back injury. I used the bands then. I know several bb friends who have had significant results so rock it out. Remember your protein!!!

I really liked the program. I have done it twice! As for cardio, I sorta do whatever I want but what you chose is a personal choice and depends on how fast you want to see results. I chose Turbo Jam because its fun. While I consider myself coordinated and an intermediate to advanced exerciser, I find TurboFire to be to spastic for me. Now mind you, I have done ALL the DVDs but the Fire ones are brutal and I'm sure I'd eventually break a limb! I need something a bit more simple. When I want to do HITT routines, I get on the treadmill or do things the old school way... jumping rope or jumping jacks, etc.
As for results, that will vary from each person too depending on where you're started from. I definitely got stronger, but noticeably stronger, hummm... that's questionable. At this stage I'm about 10lbs from my goal weight, which is 123 changes are hard to see on me. I have to be really strict with my food and I'm working on that. I try to practice Clean Eating.
This being said, I think a lot of results are due to what you eat. When I eat well, I notice a change. When I eat poorly, it shows. :)
Good luck. I hope you like the program. Chalene is very motivating and its a fun routine to follow. Its nice to get up each morning and not have to think about what to do.
CLX is a GREAT program and you are going to love it!!! either Turbo Fire or Turbo Jam would be great! totaly up to you.. If you are new to TUrbo then TUrbo Jam might be better, since it has the learn and burn dvd with it.. when I did CLX b4 I lost 10lbs, 13inches, and 6% body fat(my eating couldve been better!) Hi everyone, my name is Kristin. I am planning to do ChaLean Extreme and I am wondering a few things. I want to add some cardio but I am unsure about which to add--Turbo Jam or TurboFire. Also, I was wondering what you had seen for results. I have read the reviews on amazon, but I trust the SP community so much more.
