sounds great if you want to buddy up. I put you on my friends list and actually got my chalean extreme workout dvd's yesterday and did the fit test last night. I actually went out and got some weights on my lunch hour today and will be doing the first burn circuit tonight. I'll keep you posted on how I'm doing. I'm really looking forward to doing this and seeing results everyone I've talked to about it has had nothing but great reviews about it. good luck on the gold mining :-) talk to you in two weeks.
@ JOSBORN1970 - I can only vouch for myself and how I feel about the program, but it is definitely NOT a waste of money. I prefer ChaLEAN Ex over P90X to be honest. They are both great strength training workouts, but I love how ChEX targets 2 muscle groups at once. I have seen quite a few people get great results from this program and know if you push yourself you will too. As home video programs go, Chalene is one of the most motivating trainers I have run across. I love all of her stuff.
I am going on a 2 week HIATUS (gold mining and will be remote with no access to the world) then when I return, will be starting a new Round of ChaLEAN ex with added Turbo workouts when I am back, so I will be about 2 weeks behind you if you want to buddy up & hold each other accountable!
ok so I was tossing and turning trying to decide wether to purchase the p90x or chalean extreme. I decided to finally purchase the Chalean Extreme which is on its way to me. I'm excited about starting it and hope to see some results from it. Seems like everyone on this site has already been doing it for a while so I'll have some catching up to do once I get it. I'm hoping its not gonna be a waste of money :-)

Welcome to the team Colleen, and congratulations on Baby #2. I worked out during my first one who was born in 1981, and I was back in my regular jeans in about a month or two. If you're starting this month, join the April Group to talk to others. Or you can join the May one...I'll be creating that group sometime this week.
Thanks! I have no desire to use it as an excuse. I have continued to practice my regular hot yoga rather than dropping to a prenatal class - where I felt it was just more of a "stretch" and breathe class. It also irks me when people keep telling me to eat more (I eat plenty already thank you). Their whole "You are eating for two"....yeah #2 only weights less than 2 lbs right now!

Welocme & Good Luck! I admire that you are exercising while pregnant because you see a lot of ladies use it as an excuse. I know some of these ladies reasons are valid, but others are just excuses! Keep up up on your progress!
Hello, my name is Colleen. I am due with baby #2 July 28. I have a son who will turn four in June. And yes I will be doing Chalean and Turbo Jam during my pregnancy! I am no stranger to exercise, and am fully aware of what precautions I need to take.
I am new to the group but not to Spark. I was here years ago but just didn't have the commitment to stick with it.
I am tired of feeling tired (when not pregnant) and want to get a head start on my weight loss journey after a baby comes. By being here and logging my food, I hope to get a good handle on what I eat and it will be easier to lose the weight for good. I work out quite a bit but never lose the weight as my eating habits, frankly, suck!
I know what I need to eat and how to exercise, just am not consistent. My goal is just to become consistent in logging my food and working out on a daily basis (even if it is for only 10 minutes on some days)!
