I just wanted to thank you wonderful ladies for reaching out to me. It may not seem like a lot online but to me it meant the world. I am still here alone in the house but I am getting ready to start the Chaleane extreme Turbo Fire hybrid next week. Hopefully that will brighten my spirits just to get moving and stuff. Its still hard for me. Yesterday was my (ex) husbands birthday and I made no attempt to contact him. It was hard but he hasnt spoken to me since January so I figured it was best not to stir the pot so to speak. I am truly heartbroken but have been off work for a few days doing some thinking and maybe its time I just got out of this small town. As a little girl I always dreamed of living in CO or TX....being brought up a country girl stuck in a east coast suburb. So I have started looking at neighborhoods and jobs....i dont know yet but just the thought of a new start somewhere brings a smile i havent seen in months. Thank you ladies so much again for taking time out of your days just to send an encouraging word.

So sorry to hear what you are going through. I come from a small town where everyone knows everyone else's business even if it isn't the truth. If the next town over is close enough to go to then maybe that is where you need to focus on taking back control of your life. Get involved in something that means something to you and gives you purpose...whether that is a church, finding somewhere to volunteer or finding a weight loss or exercise group. It sounds like you need some kind of outlet that you can look forward to.
Aside from that there is always here! Lots of wonderful, caring people are members of sparkpeople!
I appreciate the suggestions but I do not feel like i can reach out to my community. Because of the reasons my husband left (stemming from someone in my in-laws having me followed and convincing my husband that I was cheating) (which i was not).....anyway him and his family have told everyone in our small town what allegedly happened and i have honestly been treated like the Scarlet letter A ever since. I have even started doing my grocery shopping and getting gas etc in the next town over due to the way I have been treated in this town. I know...I graduated high school 15 years ago but I feel like I am being treated like we are still there.
I am so sorry for what you're going through. I went through the same thing in my first marriage, and I can only say that healing does come with time, although when I was going through it I never thought it would for me. Have you considered reaching out to a support group in your community? You might check the local paper or church listings. Individual counseling also helped me through that time. Please know that we care and you are not alone. We are all on this journey together.

I am so sorry. I don't know how to help you move on from that. Starting to take control of your life with a new workout program and healthy lifestyle is definitely a step in the right direction. Hopefully you will be able to find the kind of support and help you need on the boards here. Spark is a wonderful place and there will be many people here to support you.

Here I am beginning my weight loss journey as I have nowhere else to turn. 7 months ago I married the love of my life after I returned from serving in Iraq. 6 weeks after our wedding he walked out the door, taking all his clothes and things with him. I have spent countless days and nights hold up in my house with all the lights off just laying there crying. I've gained so much weight it only adds to the depression. I am truly searcing for support and motivation in this journey. Growing up I always remember being told that you will one day meet the love of your life...well what happends after that person walks out the door and leaves you?
