I have tons of DVDs, but all I use now are the ones from Beachbody. I love TJ, but my best results have been with CLX. The last week of each phase is probably the hardest mainly because you'll have done three weeks of it already, so that part is the only place I get bored. Other than that, it does work! Back in March of last year when I started, after just three weeks I was able to fit into a pair of jeans I hadn't been able to wear in over a year.
I tried P90X, but got bored with that too. I can't tell you whether I'll get bored with ChaLEAN Extreme because I just started yesterday. However, it was nice and short. The workout was hard enough to keep me motivated, but not so hard that I wanted to quit. You should give it a try and come join us over on the April 2011 board.

I have also done P90x and InSaNiTy and have a huge DVD library because I get them free from Amex Points. So, have done the same thing. My latest freebie was ChaLean Extreme and I think this one is enjoyable because it is short and sweet. InSaNiTy was short too, but was all cardio.
This combines strength and cardio, like P90x, but the workouts are shorter. Maybe you can give that a try and see what you think.

Hello Daisy. I have both CE and TF and have had some good results with both. I also did a hybrid with both (there's a schedule in the TF literature). I've never done Insanity or P90X, but with Chalene's workouts I've never gotten bored. I do know they are shorter (but still effective) than the P90X workouts. (not sure if that's why you got bored)
I really like the ST in CE, but welcome using the bands and doing the ST in TF. I like all the cardios in both programs, but TF ones seem to be faster and the HIITs are shorter.
Hello all! My name is Daisy, I just joined this team yesterday after looking around the fitness teams. I've been looking for something that will keep me motivated and excited to want to work out and I keep seeing Chalene's TF and CLX all over the place. I had wanted to try TF before so I downloaded that but then I also went a little dvd crazy at my job (I work in a library) and I started ordering fitness DVDs all over the place to find something. So I have a ton of DVDs at home waiting for me and I'm hoping something pops out of me. But I was wondering what you guys thought of TF and CLX as well. I have both workouts waiting for me at home and I've done Insanity and P90x for a bit before I got bored of them. I'm hoping you guys can give me some good advice about these programs and whether I should try them. At this point I am at my weight goal but I would love to melt off the fat surrounding my muscles and build up my strength as well! So any advice would be great.
