Hi everyone! I'm Raine. I'm an avid runner, but with a knee injury sidelining me from running for the next 6-12 weeks, my ortho suggested I do more strength training to keep my leg muscles strong, and so that I dont get lazy about my workouts now that I cant follow structured race training programs anymore. I started doing TurboFire in November to supplement my running, but because that is pretty high-impact with all the jumping I was told to stay away from that for now too. I really felt motivated by Chalean, unlike other dvd personalities like Jillian Michaels who just annoy me, so I decided to suck up the money and try out ChaLEAN Extreme. I got through about 2 weeks before work got super crazy and I missed an entire week of workouts, so this past Sunday I restarted the program, this time taking measurements, weighing in, and taking the dreaded before pictures! I'm already loving this program though. I feel so much stronger already, and because I do it early in the morning (think 5am) before work, I find I have so much more energy throughout the rest of the day, and I am not craving food from the vending machine anymore, which is good! I've never followed any sort of dvd program like this, but I am hoping this team will help me stay accountable and on track! Looking forward to seeing fantastic results, especially with summer and bikini season right around the corner!
