I don't have kids at home anymore, but I still find that life just gets in the way of any daytime exercising. If I get up early, so do my four dogs and four cats. They have to go out, be fed, etc., etc. and by that time, the phone is ringing and life just happens. So I exercise late at night and just give up the t.v. I DVR anything I want to watch and exercise instead. No phones ringing, no animals in and out and my sweet husband is sound asleep. It's me time. I still have the energy the next day and there is no scientific evidence that exercising at night doesn't burn the same amount of calories as daytime exercising.

I work FT and do this, plus have a 2 year old, I jsut do it after my 2 yo goes to bed...(she's in by 7). I wokr to early in the morning to do it in the mornings, plus someone is an early riser, so that is no help! you can still do the 5 day a week in a row thing, just go day 1: lift, d2: cardio d3: lift, d4: cardio d5 lfit..and done!

I'm a stay at home mom to 3, the only time that I have found to work out uninterrupted is early morning before anyone else is up. It really starts my day off right and have so much more energy to keep up with everything.
My second daughter is a SAHM (homeschools and run the kids to and fro cos they're also dual enrolled, sports, etc.) She gets up at 6 a.m. to do her workout while everyone is still asleep. You might try that if you can manage it.
I have started and stopped this program for about a year now. I am really serious about starting and finishing it this time. I know I will see results if I just do it. I have a hard time managing my time. It should be easy but I make it harder then it should be. I was wondering if you guys could give me some suggestions on how you get all your workouts in plus do everything else. I was going to just do the 5 days in a row but then realized I would be lifting 2 days in a row and I know your not suppose to do that. I am a stay at home mom of 2 wonderful kids. So you would think I would have time...lol but between taking and picking them up from school it cuts into my day. (But I wouldn't have it any other way) Anyway I was just wondering if you guys could give me suggestions on how you get the cleaning done and workouts I am also going to do Elliptical, Treadmill, and Zumba for cardio. I have also thought about just doing all the cleaning on a certain day of the week. I could do the cleaning on Tuesdays which is a scheduled rest day anyway.
