I'm getting good muscle definition and can see a change all over my body. This is my third time doing Chalene Extreme. The changes are definitely measurable, but gradual!

Each person is different, and you have to decide what is right for you. You may need to add additional exercise. I would just make sure it's aerobic and not more strength exercises on the same day.

Mary, I might have to do that. I wondered if my weights were heavy enough. Now I'm thinking they aren't.

So is doing the CE alone really effective? It just seems like I should be doing more.

I started on Sunday, so today is a rest day for me, but tomorrow is Burn #2. I am a bit osre today, but feel good, wokring on teh eating part today, getting that in check.

Susie,
If you feel like you could do more following the workout, maybe you should increase your weights. In the Burn phase, the object is to reach fatigue in 10 to 12 reps.

I find if I lift heavy enough, I don't need another workout. Experiment and have fun with it! It's one of the best workouts I've ever done!

On days where you feel like you need more....pop in the ChaLean Burn Interval. That will give you all you need I think. It has excellent Cardio and endurance training combined. I am on my second week of Push and the Burn Interval workout still challenges me.

My alarm went off at 4:50 this morning and I actually jumped up out of bed excited to start this program. It wasn't bad. It was kinda fun and I could have gone longer. In fact, I followed it up with another 30 minute video because I didn't feel like I got enough of a . I'm hoping that it stays challenging enough to keep me motivated. I don't want to get bored and lose motivation.

Any suggestions on other programs to do along with CE? I want to get the most of working out but I don't want to burn myself out by doing too much.
