well, my weight didn't go down much, i'm now back to where my ticker is (from vaca)...so that was a let down, was hoping it would drop more! oh well. But have done both of the first two lean circuits, wow! those are special! didn't realize it could get worse than push! haha!

well, weighed in today, still up a touch from my vaca, but down a bit from where I was last weekend....so doing good. but have my 5 lb goal starting point.
Did PC2 for the last time today, here are my results!

S. O'head Press: Start: 12.5lbs 6 R Finish: 12.5, 7R (it is hard for me!!)
Single L Lunge: Start: 15 lbs 8 R Finish: 20 lbs, 8R
Standing Reverse Fly: Start: 7.5 lbs 7 R Finish 7.5 lbs 8 R (aparently my shoulders just suck!)

Standing Arnold Press: Start: 10 lbs 8R Finish 12. lbs 6 R
Single Leg Dead Lifts: Start: 15 lbs 8 R Finish 17.5lbs 6R
Bent-Over Lat Raise: Start: 10 lbs 6R Finish: 10lbs 8R

Front Shoulder Press: Start: 10lbs 6R Finish: 10 lbs 8R
Single Leg Tap LUnges: Start: 12.5 lbs 8R Finish 15lbs 6R
Lat Delt Raise: Start: 7.5 lbs 7R Finish: 10lbs 7R

So, my lesson from this,...weak shoulders! wow! I think that at the finish of all the push exercise the lowest weight I'm using is the 7.5 lbs on teh Reverse fly...interesting! Stay tuned for PC3 results!

OK, swear I'm talking to myself here!!
Well, I did TF 55 EZ class last night insted of recharge adn burn it off. It was awesome.
So, I've been slacking in the eating dept, but my goal to finish Chalene is 5 lbs more from Sunday. So, gotta be on track, just feel like in the push month I haven't made any progress...weight wise, but some of that cuold be because of my vacation and stuff, but just been hungrier so harder to keep things in check, maybe lean will be better there.

Completed Push 3 already. Wanted to get it done so I can watch the truck race. Took off last night - just not feeling great lately (it's allergy season so I'll keep a mild headache for the next three months).

I am maxing out at 15 lbs on my weights because the other weights are just too bulky for me to use. My lower half is strong and my shoulders are getting stronger. I think I am going to have to break down and buy 20 pound handweights but am a little worried about my wrists on those. Any suggestions or ideas on how not to feel the stress in my wrists so bad?

Hope y'all are doing great!~

I did PC1 tonight, man Push kicks my butt! I love it, but I hate it too!!
What is hard for me is the heavy weights for the lower body, i think some of my form is comprimised sometimes cuz holding them is hard for my upper body!! haha! BUt I am moving the weights up slowly, so improvements are being made for sure!

Did Burn Intervals tonight, but not the ab workout. Got the ab rocket and have been using that as it helps perfect my crunch form and I feel it so much more than the floor. I have to say I am ready to get to lean. I think these repetitive workouts bore me after two weeks. It's time to put my headphones back on so I don't have to listen to the same banter. Hope you ladies are doing well. Talk to you later!

wow did PC3! forgot that it kicks my butt, see what a few days off does! I upped a few weights too :) So hoping that helps. ate like crap today, but oh well...I haven't got my meals planned out this week because of the timing of coming home, so this week will be interesting for that..but Friday I should be back to the norm again (shopping day).

Good ideas on the dead lifts, i'll be trying that to see if that is my issue too...very well could be.

Karen - so glad you had a great vacay.

Brandi - as for deadlifts. I am thinking that you are supposed to feel like you are going to fall backwards - that way all the weight is distributed to the backs of your legs (the heels of your feet, not the balls) - that way you have to "push" your way up using your hamstrings and booty. Also, stick your booty out as far as you can and make sure not to lock your knees - keep them soft. It took me several weeks to get that down correctly - it was putting a lot of strain on my back instead of my legs. I knew (like you do) when I got it down as my hammies and booty hurt pretty good the next day.

Off to go do my workout. I took my two days off for my anniversary and birthday and now it's time to get back on track. My cleanse worked very nicelly and I think I see some nice definition coming in my abs now that the bloating is gone.

Also - I bought hubby an ab rocket for Valentine's and OMG - what a hard workout that is for abs. I love it. I can do about 5 effectively and that it is.

Hope y'all have a great night and I'll touch base with you both tomorrow. I am going to rock 49!!!!!!

I had been locking my knees and this time I kept them straight but not with my knee locked...slightly bent (hard to explain) I also didn't fall over this time...so my balance was better. I really focused on the back of my legs (although I had been trying to do that before too). So I guess it is hard to explain, and I am not certain that I did anything really hugely different, but whatever little tweaks I was able to make (could have just been the balance piece...I don't really know) it made a HUGE difference.

I wouldn't worry about it!!! I probably wouldnt' have worked out either!!! I am sure you enjoyed your vacay with your daughter & that is what matters : ) back on track tomorrow like nothing happened.

So, apparently, sometime in the last week , I figured out my form on my deadlifts. Didn't feel like I was doing anything more than wasting time when I was doing them last night, but holy cow are the backs of my legs in agony today!!! I want to cry when I think about pushing play here in a half an hour or so! I am sure once I warm up I will be fine...sure wish I had used my recovery drink last night....that would have helped a lot.

Have a great night ladies!

Yes I agree, we all do have days like that! I am happy to report that I did both of my workouts today :D Still hate the deadlifts though!

Eating is on track, but now that I think about it....I probably ought to go drink a glass of water or I will be a bit low come bedtime.

I am not sure if I have mentioned this or not...things have been so hectic around here, but I am fitting in my size 10 jeans now. They fit perfect!! Not too tight, not too loose. They are a bit saggy come the end of the night, but I think it is because they have a little bit of stretch material in them. So I need a new goal to reach for. ( I am extremely goal oriented) I have decided to participate in the Warrior Dash in Colorado in August!! I am a bit nervous about it, as it looks intense, but I am sure if I train hard I will be in tip top shape come August. And.....this is a tid bit I haven't shared with anyone except you guys and my hubby, but I bought myself 1 pair of size 8 jeans in the off chance that I might be able to get into them. I think I will be able to! It is so sad...if it weren't for my ample rear, I think I would fit into 8's already and be able to shoot for 6's, as my thighs have come along nicely since starting ChaLEAN. Oh well...you can't tell the body where to lose it. It does what it wants to.

I think we all have weeks like that - I know I do. With my stomach issues finallly resolving, I am a little off track, but who really is keeping track? As long as I push the play button as often as I can, I am fine with myself. Since I doubled up my workout yesterday, today is actually a rest day and I am taking it and going to get some real rest. Tomorrow is our anniversary so I am going to enjoy that and Monday is my 49th birthday :) I may not get a workout in until Tuesday - we'll just have to see how everything plays out. But as soon as these special days are over, I'll get back on track.

Hope y'all have a great weekend and just breathe and relax!

Here to admit my weaknesses this week. I finished week two of Push and started week three on Thursday night. So yesterday was really supposed to be a rest day...which is good...cause I didn't workout. It was a long week at work, and I didn't get everything done so I brought a good 6 hours of work home with me. Because of my schedule and the fact that my job is a desk job, besides my workouts, I am extremely inactive during the week. So bringing work home meant that I was going to be extremely inactive this weekend too :( I worked a good portion of the day, hubby is sick and works nights, so he was sleeping all day. At dinner time I realized...crap we have no food (usually shop on Saturday am). So we ordered Pizza Hut. What is worse, I ate 4 pieces!!!! I have been good and up till today I haven't really had a cheat meal or day, so I guess I shouldn't fret too much, but it is sitting like a lump in my stomach now! I was supposed to do Push 2 tonight, but with the big lump of carb in my tummy...I am just feeling sleepy and no motivation. So I popped in TF thinking that might wake me up and get me moving....nope..I did 10 min and quit. I am going to bed as soon as I finish typing this to sleep off my pizza and to get up to work another 4 hours. Hope to come up with enough energy to get back on track again tomorrow after I get through the rest of my work. My goal is to actually do Burn Intervals when I get up...before the kids get up and before starting work and then Push 2 tomorrow night before bed. That will put me back on track. Let's see if I can pull it off.

Hope y'all are doing well. I'm hanging in there. This cleanse has given me so much energy and I feel so much better so I decided to do a double workout today - did Push 1, Week 2 and the Turbo Jam routine. I am loving that, but am a little worried that I may not be able to keep up with the TurboFire. Oh, well, I'll give it my best.

One problem I am encountering is that the weights I am using (the boxy square adjustable ones that I use for higher weights ) is causing a lot of stress on my left wrist. I think I am going to have to go get me 20 pound barbells or just stick with 15 pounds. Really struggled with holding that weight today. Are y'all having any problems with the higher weights?

Since I started the cleanse and have gotten rid of so much of the bloat, I can see some change in my stomach, so I am hopeful that this will create a little change, but I don't see the drastic changes that others have talked about. But I am not to the halfway point, so I'll reserve judgement for myself yet.

Hope y'all have a great weekend!

Taking another rest night tonight after doing P90X Yoga last night. Will start Week Two of Push tomorrow. Doing this cleanse and eating light has me a little worried that I may bonk, but I'll see what happens tomorrow.

What do you climb towers for? Just curious if it's work or recreation :)

Karen,

Could you possibly be preggo? You have had a lot going on lately, and it might just be catching up to you, but I know that was one of my first indicators of pregnancy with all four of my kids.

Thanks Deb,

It is good to find these things out early, unfortunately it probably could have been found out even sooner. This is my first physicall in like 6 years. With my kids all being so close together, I never saw my family practitioner....only my obgyn. I am not really sure how long the gland has been swollen :( I did go to an Endocrinologist for a while so I know the swollen gland is new within the past year and a half.

Ok...enough chat...gotta go push play. Stressful day at work always makes for an intense workout!

Brandi - happy belated birthday girl. Mine is next Monday (I'm a Valentine's baby). I'll be 49 WOO HOO~~~

Instead of doing Burn It Off and Recharge tonight, I did P90X Yoga instead. I have been having such issues with my stomach that I look 9 months pregnant and just couldn't stand the thought of jumping around doing cardio. At first I thought it was IBS flare-up, then I cut out wheat, then meat and I'm still having problems. There is not much more I can take out of my diet without starving - I am eating as clean as I can (fruits, veggies, nuts, chicken and cheese). Of course, it very well could be the cheese as I am lactose intolerant, but cheese and yogurt has never given me a problem because it's "good" lactose and my body metabolizes it different, but it may be the culprit. I am going to try a 7-day cleanse and see if I have a "blockage" somewhere or my guts are just twisted up and inflammed and that is what is causing all this gas, bloating and crazy symptoms. If that doesn't work, guess I'll have to go to a gastroenterologist. This is the part of getting older that I am not looking forward to - my body is revolting on me.

Brandi - I'm sorry about your thyroid, but it's better to find this stuff out before it gets too out of hand. Bravo to your doc for staying on top of it. I've been looking at that Keurig coffee maker too, but just concerned the coffee may be a little more expensive. Tell me what you think.

Well, off to take my pills and down some water and hopefully tomorrow will start a brigther new day!!!!

Karen, I am so sorry for your loss :( Thinking of you and your family! Great job keeping up with your workouts...I bet they helped a bit with the emotions. Enjoy Disney : ) I bet your little one will have a blast!

Deb,
I really like Push 3 too. I brought it hard on that one...my chest is still sore!

Welcome Chelsea, good luck with your goals : ) You are well on your way!

I haven't had a chance to get on, but wanted to let you all know I am still on track with my workouts. Tonight is a rest day and then back to it. So I have good news & bad news. I officially fit into my goal jeans (bought one size lower than I typically wear), and they are comfortable and even a little loose at the end of the day! The bad news...I found out at my dr. appt that my thyroid gland is swollen & needs an ultrasound :(
I know hypothyroidism can't be cured & eventually I will lose my thyroid gland, but I thought it would last a lot longer than 28 years! I will find out more on sometime next week.

Oh and my birthday was last Friday...I spoiled myself with a Keurig coffee maker :D it just came today so I am excited to try it out tomorrow morning!

Have a great night all!

Chelsea - so glad you found this thread. I am most impressed that you actually did your workouts on vacation LOL. Last summer I took P90X with me to Myrtle Beach and never took them out of my suitcase, but a four mile walk on the beach morning and night gave me a great workout anyway.

Today is my rest day (technically), but I didn't workout last night (stomach hurt too bad) so I am going to do my burn it off/recharge today. Actually, I was thinking of doing the P90X yoga intsead as I don't feel like I am getting enough of a "stretch" workout to go with my weights.

Hope y'all have a great day!

Hi Everyone I started ChaLEAN extreme on January 3rd also, but just found this thread! I love this program so far. I'm looking into buying adjustable weights, because so far i only have the bands and weight's that go up to 5 lbs. Totally can't be in a Push phase, if im not pushing it right...

I also just celebrated my 24th birthday Sunday, Hubby and I went to our favorite beach and stayed in a wonderful hotel. I brought along my workouts, and followed through with them, but my eating was horrible even though i did bring healthy snacks. Some meals i was not able to see the calorie information so i guessed...

A little about me, I work at a Walgreen's, as a beauty advisor, I am 5'7 and 240 lbs. I want to lose a total of 100 lbs, which i'm down 20 so far. I am a beachbody coach, and I have also worked out with turbo Jam. I am ADDICTED to shakeology too..oh yeah, I got married in August of 2010, and have been with my husband for 8 years :)

Hope to keep in touch with everyone!

Chelsea

Karen - so sorry to hear of your loss. Sounds like the Disney trip will be greatly needed as a reminder of enjoying life. Don't stress your workouts - enjoy yourself. I'm sure you'll be getting in plenty of walking and lifting the kids in and out of rides and strollers - that will be workout enough. Disney has done a pretty good job of implementing "healthy" eating into their foods and restaurants - so it may be easier than you think to stay on track.

well, did Burn It off adn Recharge last night, was ok. Had a rough weekend. My husband's "other mother"...really close to our family (she hosted our daughters b-day in dec, adn a few other key things....you get the idea) well, she died early satruday morning, and will be missed greatly, so that put a not so nice spin on the weekend. But I am still on track (except for eating pizza sat. night...not many options though).
We are off to Disneyland on Thursday though! so that will be fun! and we have a gym in the hotel, so goign to stay as on track as I can exercise-wise and I'll TRY to be ok with eating, but not promising anything! haha!

Push 3 is done!!!! I loved it too!!! I love working the bigger muscle groups. I was able to complete all of my exercises using the 15 & 20 pound weights too so I am improving immensely. I feel so full of energy right now. I may have to learn to turn off the phones and do my workouts in the mornings.

Going to spend the day studying for my nutrition certification and then SuperBowl time!!! Got sweet potatoes roasting, pecans toasting and a pot of veggie soup in the making!

I hear you on the schedule Karen! I likely won't take a day off tomorrow because, yet again, my day off fell on the weekend and that is something I want to avoid! That is my catch up time...in case I need it.

I have days like that too Deb....your body must be in need of a rest day! Enjoy the Superbowl tomorrow : )

I am off to bed now!

Whew - Intervals and Ab Burner kicked my butt tonight. I don't know if it was using the heavier weights last night or what, but I about couldn't do some of the intervals tonight because my muscles just were sore. I managed to do them, but a few were in really bad form. Going to try and get Push 3 done early tomorrow so I can watch the SuperBowl.

You ladies have a great night and way to go on the weight loss Brandi - that is great progress!!!

I am pretty sure I struggle with my form on the flys as well. I can't quite seem to "feel" it where she says I should. I play with it every time and even have my husband watch me, but can't seem to figure it out. I also get stress in my neck with those.

No my office doesn't make it easy on us. Starting Feb 15th they will start bringing in catered dinners for us so that we can work till 8 or 9pm without leaving the office. One of the caterers is fairly healthy, the other "Buttered Biscuit" is not (as if you can't tell by their name!!!) Buuut!! After some serious lobbying from a bunch of us healthier types, we convinced them last year to bring in fresh fruit (apples, bananas, grapes, oranges) once a week. That should start the week of Feb 15th too!

I don't necessarily crave bad for me foods, but I just need to bring more food in. I already bring in (just for snacks) 30 grams of baby carrots, a p90x protein bar, an apple and a banana, a greek yogurt and I keep a bag of Shakeology there, so I will have a shake every day. My lunch is usually the P90X Chilli (out of the recipe book) or a veggie burger and a huge salad salad made with Brocolli flourets, spinach leaves, red romaine lettuce, celery, radish, tomato & red onion.....I pack the container as full as I can. Think I am going to get a box of whole wheat crackers to keep there & start bringing 2 TBSP of peanut butter to eat with my apple. I also don't want to bring more than I need because I am a thoughtless snacker, and will eat even if I am not hungry.

I did Burn it off & ab burner this am....need to do Recharge tonight.

Fat Blaster is a Turbo Jam workout :D so you haven't even seen half the intensity of Turbo Fire yet!

So.....I have to go to the doctor on Monday to have my TSH drawn (I am hypothyroid) and a physical, so I decided to weigh myself today to be sure I wasn't surprised by the number on the scale....I was afraid where I hadn't put a ton of energy into my workouts that first week of Push that I might have gone back up over 160 (the dreaded weight I get stuck at).....nope :D I lost 3.4 more pounds...now at 156.2. Goal weight is now only 11lbs away!!

Talk with you tomorrow!

TF is TJ on crack...TJ has been out for quite a whiel, TurboFire is evil, but fun!! So, if that is the one you have, give it a try! or wait til you are done with CLX, hehe...I just wanted soem extra cardio, and boy did I get it!!!

I do get "stress" in my neck area on the flys..not sure if it is form or just normal...so at least we are in the same boat!

As for my hunger, i've been craving carbs, boo!!!

Oh God, I can barely keep up with the Turbo Fire Fat Blaster. If TJ is TF on crack, then I am in trouble LOL!!!! I thought about getting TF, but NO, I jump in with both feet and get TJ. Now y'all got me wanting to open my box......

I did Push 2 tonight. That was pretty intense. As flys aren't really my strong point, I am proud that I got through them using the 10 pound weights instead of 8's. Also, I managed to use 20 pounds each side for the squats so I am improving there. I could actually feel my quads stretching to lift me so I guess I am on the right track with that weight.

Now a question - do y'all feel a lot of "stress" in your neck area when you are doing the fly raises? I don't know if it's my form or if that is the way you're supposed to feel. I wish I could hire a trainer to watch me, but I can't so I just try my best.

Okay - so I've been hungrier too the last few days and not for bad stuff either. My body is craving fruits and veggies so that's a plus.

Brandi - boy your office sure does make it hard doesn't it? You better pack you some healthy stuff or you'll undo all this hard work. Have you every tried Kind Bars? They are fruit and nuts and are so absolutely awesome. Let calories/fat than a candy bar but so yummy and all natural. Fruit, nuts. That's it. Kind of like a Larabar but better. Larabars are good, but everything is ground up. The kind bar is whole chunks and awesome. I get them at Kroger. May have to find an online distributor to get a case.

You ladies have a great night and I'll talk to you tomorrow. We sure are rockin' this aren't we?

Yes, I like to add the extra cardio in because I am a cardio addict...(maybe just a turbo addict, because I prefer TJ & TF to Burn It off & Burn Intervals)

I find Turbo Fire super addicting. It is just so fun that even if I don't have time to do the whole thing I will pop it in just to "dance" around a bit and know that I burned extra cals :D My body bug said that I burned 9.2 calories a minute during a portion of the first part of Turbo Fire (Fire 30) that I did last night. I have seen it get as high as 13.4 per minute. Obviously I don't stay that high the entire workout, but it is neat to know that at those points I am really burning those calories off!

I find myself extremely hungry the past couple of days while I was at work, and completely didn't correlate it to being in the Push Circuit. You are probably right...I bet that is why my temptation to visit the vending machine has been so high lately. Guess I probably need to bring more healthy snacks to keep me away from the evil vending machine!! Esp. since the office will reduce it to 25 cents on everything in there next week until April 15th.

Push circuit 3 this am...I actually got up to do my workout! YAY! Tomorrow I think I am going to do abs again. I know you can't spot reduce, but maybe if my muscles are tighter it will hold it in better ; D

I did burn internvals and ab burner last night, lots of chub for that one! haha! (course mine is alwasy on my stomach the most) that was tough, but way better than last week when I was still sick.
Today is my day off from work (I work 4-10's) so Syd is off to daycare and i clean the house, and go grocery shopping and workout...So, Push 3 this morning, and for fun, since I hear someitmes you need an extra bit of cardio in Push to keep the weight loss going, I'm goign to add Fire 30.

Is it just me or do you get way hungrier duirng Push? I've been starving lately!!

Push 2 is no joke!! I struggle with my balance, so I have to keep my foot down during the deadlifts....I don't particularly care for deadlifts anyway...I just can't seem to get the form down...I try to watch myself in the window, and it looks right to me, but I have a hard time engaging like I need to.

I think you would be ok to lift during the first trimester. I did Burn circuit during my last pregnancy, and actually did the cardio workouts right up until I was just too darn fat and in my own way...hee hee I am sure watching me do burpees around my "beachball" of a belly was hilarious!

Glad your gonna keep on truckin' with us, Deb! If you find any awesome recipes, please share! I am always looking for some new ways to cook my veggies and keep things interesting. I love the recovery formula too, it is soo tasty. It is actually a new formula...the old formula was way too sweet for my tastebuds...I like the little bit of tang you get from the new formula. I also really like my Shakeology. I use it as a snack if I am having it at work (then I only put water in it) but if I use it to replace a meal I usually blend it with 2 tbsp of peanut butter a smidge of nutmeg & cinnamon and Soy milk. That way it has more calories in it and can count as a meal. (just a scoop of shakeology itself is only 140 calories.)

Way to go on the weights!!! You are getting stronger! That is awesome that you can do this with a fused ankle. I will have to share that with my dad. He has a fused ankle also...among many other issues (tree fell on him when he was younger, working in the woods)

So tonight I popped on and saw your posts and decided I had enough energy to pull of burn intervals & ab burner. I can see some awesome definition coming in my abs, but I still have 2 handfuls of chub laying over the very middle which looks terrible! I also notice if I chew gum I get bloated & then the pudge makes me look preggo again :( Ah well...guess the gum is gonna have to go till the fat is gone!

Have a great night, I am so glad the weekend is almost here!

Well ladies I retook my pictures this morning and will not be posting them. I can see absolutely no discernible difference in them. None whatsoever. I'm not discouraged as I can see my muscle definition coming along really nice in my arms, calves and back and I can see some definition of abs under all this fat, but the pictures just don't show the small differences yet, so I'll just hold on to them and hopefully when I take my 60 day pics, there will be a difference you can see (God I hope there is a seeable difference).

Tonight is my rest night and I am going to get some homework done. Thank you for all of your encouragement and I'll talk to you tomorrow night.

Brandi & Karen: I'm not going anywhere. I am in this for the long haul. I was going to try and retake my pics this morning but life got in the way. So I'll do them tomorrow and try to get them posted. Believe me - they are nothing significant, just accountability. Because I know when I look back at them on Day 60 and Day 90, I'll know I accomplished something.

I know my diet has been the biggest downfall for me. The gluten free stuff is higher in fat/calories. Plus, trying to eat cheese for additional protein, but even the low fat stuff is high fat so trying to keep things in ratio has been a challenge and I keep going below my protein and over my fat. I bought some vegetarian cookbooks to try and get some ideas on how to cook so hopefully I'll get this all under control.

I don't really want to do a meal replacement shake. Have tried that and did not have much success at it. I do love the P90X recovery drink though. I only use one scoop just because it is so high in calories, but it sure is yummy. I put it in the freezer and get it good and slushy and then I not only have my recovery drink, but I also have a "dessert" after my workout.

So began Push Circuit 1 tonight and let me say that my arms feel like jello. I used mainly 12 & 15 pound weights and I noticed on the overhead tricep, I may be able to up to 20. I do worry about my squat form because I have a fused right ankle and it doesn't bend so I end up compensating. But I see some definition coming in my thighs and calves, so I must be doing something right. I think on my rest day I am going to alternate the Yoga X and Fat Blaster. I'll take one rest day on the weekend (normally Sundays).

Well - off to bed soon. Hope y'all have a great night and I am so proud of both of you for keeping this up. I couldn't imagine trying to do it with little ones running around or even doing it at night when you've got to be exhausted from chasing little ones all day. Y'all are my heroes!!!

I just finished Push 2 and holy crap, i'm shaking (I think I say this after every new wokrout! haha!) but seriously! and my arms and butt are still sore from monday, so gonna be interesting this week...wonder if it continues like this, or does the soreness kinda go away like in BUrn? either way, it is a good indicator of working the booty off! hehe.

I know what it is like, and i only have a 2 year old, but I wokrout in the evenings and sometimes she just won't stay in bed, grr!! She's been pretty good lately, but we have our phases.

I promise to keep going, even if we get prego...cuz won't know about prego stuff this month til I'm almost doen with push anyway, and then I think lean is a little easier on teh bod anyway, plus weight lifting in teh first trimester is pretty much ok i think, would just tone down intensity on the cardio dvd's, cuz they kick my butt too!! :)

I think i will ask my coach about the shakeology, would like to try it, and would like to have a sample first for sure.

Hey Deb!! Great Job! I totally agree...your results are going in the right direction! I also would like to chime in on the calorie intake. Weight loss in and of itself is purely a mathematical equation. Maybe you are misjudging some of your calories that you are consuming? I know you have some restrictions that my make it harder than it is for those of us without the restrictions. What exactly does a gluten free diet look like anyway?

Karen,

You should ask your BB coach to send you a sample of the Shakeology, so you can try it. If you like it, maybe your coach would reimburse you for your start up coaching fee so that you can get the coaches discount on it. Just a thought...I know it is expensive, so every bit of savings helps.

So I did Push Circuit 2 yesterday and got up @ 4am to workout this am and get to work before the "storm of the century" hit (which wound up only being 1/3 of the total the weather people were predicting), but Ashyn woke about 15 min into Burn Intervals so that put the end to that. Gosh it is going to be so tough to stay on track with this during tax season AND having a baby that you can't really count on schedule wise. I will keep at it though...don't you two disappear on me. I need the accountability more than ever. That way when I have the opportunity, but don't feel like it...I will be way more likely to do it.

Off to bed...gonna be another early morning tomorrow! Can't wait for the weekend!~

results are results!!! and they are in the right direction, so i think it is progress. I think you should do the rest of the program, then you'll have lots of muscle, then do TF and melt off all the extra fat, which should work even better cuz the extra muscle you have built in CLX will make the fat go away faster!

Just be more careful with your cal intake and try to get more protein, I know that is hard with your other restrictions, but maybe you can concentrate on it more for this month??

Have you tried theri shakeology shakes?? I would like to, but not quite ready to invest...need to pay my weights off first!

Well - I did my results check today - and I have mixed reviews on it. I know when I did P90X I wasn't real happy with my first Phase, so this was kind of to be expected. I have to retake my pics in the morning as I didn't get the camera angle right so it cropped all the pics at my knees. So I'll post a blog about my month and my pics tomorrow.

I lost 1.2 pounds and 3 1/4". Not great, but at least it's something. My greatest loss was in my thighs so I am happy with that. My body fat decreased 2.5%, but I am not sure I am doing this right (it's kind of hard to see the calipers as my boob gets in the way LOL) but at least it's going down. I am still at 31.5% body fat though. I carry most of my fat and weight in my stomach and butt.

So I'll push play again tomorrow and start the Push Circuit. I am okay with the results - as long as I am working out I'm happy. The only thing I wish is that my pics would show the definition in my arms better. I can see good muscle tone in my back and I can start seeing some semblance of muscle in my abs, but that is under a great layer of fat still.

Baby steps, baby steps......

Ladies:

Y'all make me laugh. My lower body is my strong point too and probably for the same reason - ample rearness. That's okay - my husband loves it. Just wish I could get rid of the ample stomach that goes with it.

I am so excited about finishing Burn Circuit. It was pretty awesome and I didn't get bored, so I am so ready to start Push Circuit. I am going to do my pics and measures in the morning so fingers crossed that I have decent results.

Hope y'all have a good night :)

LOL Deb, the 50lbs is all lower body. I couldn't lift 25 with one arm if I had to! 15lbs is as heavy as I can go. I also can only do 10lbs on tricep kickbacks, I forgot about that one. I do have a pretty strong lower body...I often wonder if my generous rear is so generous because there is a fair amount of muscle pushing the fair amount of fat out further!! :D

I am extremely sore today. Guess I did something right yesterday. Taking my scheduled rest day and hoping to get my workout in tomorrow am so I can cross it off my list first thing!

I am mentally exhausted! Only 73 more days to go! Good night ladies!

Thanks ladies!! I"m excited to see your results too!!

Push starts today!! I'm pretty excited, not sure why, but maybe cuz it is something new...that is the cool part about this program, it changes and evolves, but you still know what to expect.

DH was doing push circuti 1 yesterday, i was giving him grief about his form half the time, poor guy...really wasn't doing the squats right and I don't want him to hurt his knees...he gave me some excuse about his ankle...men!!

Karen - wow those results are really impressive. If you have that kind of loss the whole program, you'll lose over 28 inches overall.

Looking in the mirror, I just don't see that kind of inch loss yet, but I do see some beautiful definition coming back in my arms. My legs, butt and belly definitely need A LOT of work. I do my pics and measures on Tuesday. I'll post them in a blog. I like sharing results and pics in a blog because it shows other people who are using various excuses that you can get fit no matter your age, shape, weight or health issues.

Ember - I am most amazed that you are lifting 50 pounds total. Most impressed!!!!! I am not sure I'll ever get above 15's - my wrists and long bone in my forearm (ulna????) really feel it when I lift 15. And for flys - 8's are definitely it right now.

I did the Blast if Off and Fat Blaster tonight. It was awesome. I love good high intensity cardio. I burned over 1000 calories in an hour :)

One more day and then Push starts on Wednesday!!! I am so excited!

Hey ladies!

Karen congrats on the inches! Great job! Sorry your still not feeling 100%

Deb, happy early birthday! Yay for the 15 lbs :) Can't wait to see your results!!

So I think I just might have had a 24 hour something...the next day I felt much better! However, my son came down with strep. 3 of the 4 have it :(

I restarted Push today. I just wasn't putting in full effort this past week, and I missed a couple of days, so I want to do it right. I feel guilty when I know I didn't really work hard. I am shaking all over now, though!! Did 25's (so 50 total on the lower body workouts and 15's on the upper body. I am going to have to stay put for a bit because the 20's would kill me! I also did Ab Burner today, since everyone napped a bit longer than usual.

Deb I agree...I am glad both of you keep coming back! It keeps me in line!! If I get a chance tonight I will post my before pics. I didn't get a 30 day pic, but I will definitely post a 90 day pic.

I think I am mentally back on track now. My motivation dip had a lot to do with the transition from 30 hours week to 50 last week and with the kids being sick. I have adjusted to being busy again at work, and hopefully the kiddos are on the mend!

Have a great day!

I am going to weigh in on Tuesday and do my measurements then. I will finish Burn Circuit on Monday. I am going to do the Burn if Off and Recharge tomorrow and then again on Monday and not take the rest day. I will probably take Tuesday as my rest day and begin Push on Wednesday.

My sweet hubby bought me some 15 pound hand weights today for my birthday on the 14th. I used them for a few exercises tonight, but they sure are heavy :) Most definitely will be something I will have to ease in to. I also got in my P90X recovery drink (which I am drinking as I speak), tastes a little bit like Tang. I am only using one scoop as I don't really want to go so far over my calorie range today.

Hope y'all have a great Sunday and I'll talk to y'all tomorrow night.
