I'm a 27-year-old Southern Californian. I joined SparkPeople at the end of November and haven't logged in since that first day. I was putting together photos for a year-in-review retrospective and realized that I looked larger and larger in each photo as the months went on. I knew then that waiting until January 1 to start a "resolution diet" wasn't the way to go, and I needed to start NOW.
I became a pescatarian in June of this year. I am doing the "Day Zero" challenge of 101 things to accomplish in 1001 days. As part of the challenge, I was a vegetarian for three months (March, April, May). My husband is full vegetarian. I realized at the end of the challenge that the only meat food I really missed was fish/seafood, so I decided pescatarian would be right for me. My husband is a vegetarian.
