I just caught this post and am interested because I am in a mixed relationship, also: Carnivore and Pescatarian. We grill A LOT and do exactly what was suggested - piece of fish and piece of meat. What I am noticing is that he is beginning to opt for fish more and more because I'm finding so many luscious recipes. He is also starting to enjoy meatless/fishless meals more since there are so many great vegetarian dishes that can be concocted. Especially this time of year with all the fresh veggies.
Hi! Glad to see you here.
On meat days, grill. You can have a piece of fish and he can have steak, etc. Do that all the time when I go to my mom's or sister's for dinner.
Other thing is, when making things like spaghetti sauce, use the sauce as a base and add meat or fish (I seriously like sardines in mine) before serving.
I do that even for just me because the sauce keeps longer if it is 100% veggie.
wecome. On the "meat days"try making something with a lot of sides for you?

Hi all :) I was a Pescatarian for about 20 years and then I met my husband, who tempted me back to the other side... It's been 4 years that I have been back eating all types of meats and I've been reconsidering transitioning back for a while now. Slowly (and I think subconsciously lol) I have been transitioning my husband "the hunter" to white meat only. We have been eating red meat very rarely for the past year. Hubby loves fruit and veggies and is very open to new things, so that is awesome. I'm just trying to figure out how we can cook a meal and still make us both happy all of the time, even when he wants meat and I don't. Cooking separate meals is not an option either. It's nice to see a separate group for this so full acceptance is available :)
