Thanks all! I took a 20 minute walk when I got home and I'll do some ab work after dinner. I don't feel like taking a nap, so I guess it's working!

Laura,

Workouts even for FIVE (5!) minutes will help.

Forget about 30 minutes (to start).

Just start. Check out Coach Nicole's excellent articles, videos, and animated GIFs.

Or, start somewhere else, if that's more convenient.

Just,

S - T - A - R - T !

You can do it!

That's why you're here. You've started the "start", now start to exercise.

Tiffany

Depression is anger without the motivation.

I think depression runs rampant in society today because we are all so obsessed with making a living instead of living our lives.

Live your dreams, it's not as hard as it may seem...On your hopes you must lean...From your fears you have to wean yourself.

Welcome to the team, Laura! It sounds like working out in the late afternoon may be just the right thing to give you a second wind for the evening. I can’t work out in the morning either, and have come to enjoy my workout time after work.

Hi! My name is Laura and I'm 35 years old, married, and have a 4 year old son. Everyone tells me I should work out in the morning, Yeah, that's not going to happen. I'm up between 5-5:20 to get things ready for the day.
I'm a 4th grade teacher and on my feet pretty much all day, and I also have Sjogren's syndrome. So, even though I'm home by 3:30 most days, and have a good 1.5 hours before I have to start dinner, I'm pretty exhausted when I get home. I trying to fight the urge to nap and I know working out even if it's for 30 minutes will help!
