You did great !! It was a lot easier for me to work out when I worked the overnight shift because I had more free time in the morning so I now see the bigger challenge of working out at night instead... just know that the more you do it the easier it gets..
I do a lot more cardio and weight work than miles now than I did years back...but it's great to hear someone use the term runners..that's what they'll always be to me
Well, I did it. I was so tired after the long weekend chasing after my 2 year old nephew that I almost talked myself out of it. But......I put on the runners and took my dog for a run (well, maybe a jog). Either way I didn't pick the couch, that came later in the evening.
The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called Failure, a loop called Confusion, speed bumps called Friends, red lights called Enemies, caution lights called Family. You will have flats called Jobs. But, if you have a spare called Determination, an engine called Perseverance, insurance called Faith, a driver called Jesus, you will make it to a place called Success.
I'm an after work worker outer. I simply can't get my butt out of bed in the am to do any kind of effective exercising. I usually run after work if it's not too hot (my dog prefers this) or I hop on the elliptical. If I don't change right into my work out clothes the minute I get home then it's game over for me for that day. I'm supposed to go out today so now that I know I'm going to have to be accountable I'll be less likely to pick the couch over the running shoes.
