Sorry I didn't see this post til now. Yes, we are stating and tracking goals. No, you don't have to wait til the start of the month to join in.
The numbers we're posting are pretty simple: how many minutes in each workout (each day?); how many times you plan to work out in a week; how many total minutes in the month; and finally, as you exercise, you subtract the minutes of your workout so this number shows how many minutes you have left to do in the month (or whatever time frame is left).
If that's not clear, Jo has posted better instructions in another thread or feel free to ask in the main August discussion thread.

I just "rejoined" SparkPeople after a long absence yesterday, and I found this group! So I still kinda don't get it with the numbers thing...do I wait to participate till a new month? I did 40 minutes yesterday...tell me what to do. I did read the post but I don't know what to do since it's mid-month and it seems like ya'll are tracking monthly goals...? Anyway, HI! :)
