Welcome, and Bonjour!
In the light of darkness I'll find my way
I've shed my sorrow, at least for today
I have never felt so strong
Life is rushing through my veins
With my heart and mind aligned
I can stand the test of time
I have never felt so proud
Of what I feel and who I am
When life brings me to my knees
Nothing will ever get me down

Welcome to the team! I, too, am noticing the start of my SAD symptoms as the days get shorter and grayer. I'm trying really hard to make a concerted effort to FIGHT it. I'm winning so far, but it gets harder as the days get shorter.
Have you had your Vitamin D levels checked? Some team members have been found to have really low levels of D.
Doing my best...one day at a time.
Do you suffer from SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder)? Check out the new team.

Hi and welcome to the team!
I use a light too... about an hour every morning; speaking of which I need to start using it now! We have had a grey and dismal summer with only about 2-3 sunny days each month and I already have SAD.

Hi friends, I have just completed FastBreak with SP. In august I was so boosted especially after such a sunny summer we have enjoyed in 2012. Now September has arrived and my typical SAD behavior is becoming more frequent as it becomes dark in the early evening. I have a light that will soon find a home on my desk so that I can bask in full spectrum light for at least 30 minutes a day. This will get me through to the New Year. But I have a goal to lose 43 lbs by July 2013 so the light will stay put until DST returns. I hope3 to hear how my new team mates cope with SAD and i will pass on what I find worthwhile.
