I often thought that something was wrong with me because I would get soooo depressed every February. February although is the shortest month in actuality for me it was endless.
I had some anxiety issues a few years ago and the woman managing my medication went through a check list of questions and suggested that in addition to the medication I purchase and use a SAD light. I was religious about it and it helped!
This past winter I have not used it at all and am doing well. What is the difference? I am outside virtually every Saturday and Sunday downhill skiing. But my light is at the ready just in case I feel myself slipping. This is the first February in ages that has gone by fast for me. YEAH!
