Hello. I am a 38 year old mother of two. I have been struggling with my weight since age 19. I have been on every diet including lap band surgery. I have never been consistent or successful at weight loss despite having surgery. I have never exercised and watched my caloric intake for more than 3 months. Last year I reached my highest weight of 294 and was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I have decided that I won't be defeated by obesity and the diseases that come along with it. My weight loss has been slow, only lost 20 pounds since February, but I have other off scale successes such as lower blood sugars and increased energy.
With the help of spark people....I am determined to get it right this time!
