I'm not a runner myself, although I'd like to be 'someday', so I can't give you any advice on that but just wanted to say emoticon and emoticon to the team and congrats on your weight loss so far. You are definitely on the right track and I'm sure you will reach your goal before you know it!

Hello everyone!

I'm a 25-year-old electrical engineer from The Netherlands. Just like over 64% of construction workers in my country, I am overweight.
I was actually a part of the 15% that is labeled obese.

I WAS, because I've lost 31 pounds since throwing my life around in February of this year. I've got about 10 pounds left to go until I reach a normal BMI, and when I get close(r) to that goal, I would love to start running as a cardio workout to help maintain my weight.

That's why I joined this team.

I'm looking for tips on running gear, stretching,
what distance to start off with, all the good stuff. :)
