You may want to change your goals from weight loss to healthy habits. The scale will move as you get healthier but your focus will then be on living a healthy life.

Finding activities you enjoy, learning to track your foods and stay in calorie range (still working on it but not depending on the scale moving to be successful,) training for a 5K or challenging yourself to be able to do something that is difficult but not impossible will help you reach your goals.

I re-joined sparkpeople in Dec 2012 with the goal of losing 50 lbs. I have been tracking my food daily and doing at least 20-30mins of jogging 4-5 times a week. So far I lost about 7lbs, its going slow and can become discouraging, but I think I will stick with it. I might have to reevaluate my goals, maybe if I have the goal of losing 1/2 lb weekly instead of 1lb weekly I will be able to see result and remain motivated.
I think I need to look at this as a new way of living and not some short-term thing.
