Thank you all. I am going to push myself to get on that Treadmill. I really liked the treadmill when I used to go to a gym. I think my bigger issue here is that the treadmill sits in our basement which isn't my favorite place. Unfortunately, my son hasn't moved out yet so our exercise room is still waiting to become an exercise room ;)

I know people that hate treadmills and feel they are boring....i'm the opposite often doing 2-4 hour workouts like a hamster .....for me I have to have goals .....start out slow .....i.e. today do 2.0 start and each minute go up one tenth til you are at say 80 percent effort then walk it back down in one or two or three minute increments.....I play like this constantly on my treadmill...each workout trying to outdue the last one not by leaps and bounds but slightly....just enough to say hey I did better....improving, also ad in the inclines doing the same thing .....this gives you hundreds of different possibilities and workout plans i often put the workout on a dryerase board beside me so I can remember last workout or todays....I've even preplanned an entire month before ......to me these kind if small improvements are fun cause in 3 months you'll be shocked in the gains.....but when you get on theirwith no plan you will often get bore. NOTE: YOU HAVE TO HIT THE BUTTONS .....sometimes you want to stay at the old setting so i penalize myself if I dont stick to the plan (you have to be your own coach)......this is one thing i do others like changing settings when a song changes or commercial if watching tv .....treadmills can be fun and great weight loss tools cause weather and getting to a gym are eliminated ....no excuses ....i hope this helps you ...i look forward to an.update let me know how it goes and feel fre to friend me for support i try to help

It can be boring but how about listening to your favourite music, or watching something interesting on TV? Good Luck!

I am new to this team, but definitely not to spark people. Due to some arm and neck issues, I am no longer allowed to do many of my workouts on my Wii (yes I love my Wii). My doctor said to use my treadmill (which is relatively new and was very expensive) or my recumbent bike which isn't working so well these days.

I need advice on how to get the treadmill to be interesting. I always feel like I am walking to no where. I have a Two Winds high end model treadmill that does everything but talk to you. I even have a USB thing for my computer to record my workouts. I do use the treadmill while I'm doing walk it out for Wii and now I'm thinking that maybe having my tablet would help as I could read and listen to music or watch a show.

Help...please motivate me to want to use the treadmill.
