Welcome. You may want to try "sprints." This is when you increase your speed a bit and walk/run faster for 30-60 seconds every 5 minutes and return to your original speed. As you do this, you will get stronger and can increase your regular speed and increase the speed of your sprints. Another thing you can do to challenge yourself is increase the incline. Doing this in "sprints" also helps you build endurance.

Hello everyone! My name is Celeste. I am 27 and reside in Washington state.

I use our apartment complex gym which has a treadmill and an elliptical.

I want to admit: I am a complete newbie when it comes to the treadmill LOL. There are so many different settings on it, I don't know what to use and what to avoid for now.

I know I am slow on it speed wise. I average 2.8-3.0 mph and I want to build up.

Any advice you can give me would be awesome. Thanks!
