Welcome. There are so many things you can do to be active even with a bad knee. Bike riding is less stressful, even other forms of exercise such as walking may be less stressful on your knee.

Take care of your knee.

Get out your food journal or use Spark and track. You will be more successful if you do this. If your hubby doesn't want to embrace a plant based diet completely, you can still enjoy a lot of things together and I'm sure he eats more freggies than he used to.

I am renewing my committment to lose weight. My husband and I were encouraged to start a "plant based diet" and have done well until we got off course. I am back. He- not so much. I have another 30-40 lbs. to lose. At my max I was 200 in April of 1999. I am at 170 today. Goal is 130-135. We have no insurance, and my "good" knee is hurting and I haven't been able to do Zumba anymore :( It is the only exercise I found that I liked. I am a sedentary person by nature. I live in central Florida and work on a "as needed" basis, so my life has no consistency. I am trying right now to focus on one goal at a time- 8 glasses of water and eating no sweets. I need the encouragement and motivation that Spark has to offer. Looking forward to SUCESS and in the future good health. I still have lots of life left in me and I want to enjoy it.
