Hello! My name is Dawn and I have struggled with being over weight most my life. My heaviest was 230lbs at 5'6". My current weight is 180lbs. I feel stuck! I have been running since Feb. of this year with the goal of running a 5k. At first I could only run 30 seconds and had to stop because I couldn't breath, but with each run I went further. After months of pushing myself, I have ran in two 5k races and I'm looking for my next. Just hoping to get my eating under control and lose weight while becoming a runner with endurance to keep me running and running. Pushing past and running further than the 5k mark seems impossible as well as losing weight.
