Another reason that I love SP is the WELCOMES that are sent from present members to new members in the team. Give it a very family feeling! It is another incentive to continue on the path to new healthy ways. I know the other team members would agree with me!

Use the food tracker and track everything you eat. It's an eye opener to see what you put in your mouth and how many calories you consume. You really need to tell yourself "no" when you do mindless eating. Have healthy foods available to snack on. When I want something sweet, I first try an apple or banana. That usually takes care of my sugar craving. It takes awhile, but eventually you will be able to walk away from all the eating. Good Luck!
To i am sincerelife: I have found that I try to make a change into a habit by doing the event for at least 30 days. Are you listing the foods you eat for each meal? It gives you a visual "kick in the pants" as to where you are eating needless calories. Also when you think you want to eat, do you try to do something else, tell yourself you will have a small piece of whatever food you are craving if you still want it after 30 minutes of doing something else? Sometimes just getting your mind off the eating part for a not so long period of time may help to stop from eating even that one time. Every time you do it is a success that you should remember; you did what you wanted to succeed at or become a better habit than the constant eating even when you're not hungary. Go for a short walk, go weed the garden, read at least 3 or 4 chapters of a book, take a warm bath with your favorite bubbles or scent...I could go on, but I think you get the picture. And last, post a photo of yourself- front view AND side view in a permanent spot on the refrigerator door. Do you want to continue to be at that weight, or look like that? Your answer may be what stops you from raiding the frig. needlessly. Hang a set of "fat" clothes on your closet door. Do you want to continue to fit in that size?????

Hi I'm new to spark people I need some help because I can't find the motivation to start to loose weight. I will exercise that's not the problem I just always eat even when I'm not hungry. I think this is beyond a diet situation. Can someone pls offer some advice and help
