Thanks! I managed to get in 40 minutes and it felt so good. I am just about ready for new shoes. I have 2 pair I alternate wearing. I have old lady feet. Wore high heels in the 80's. I have bunions and a corn giving me problems.Ugh. It's so minor in the big picture!
Welcome SUZILADI99. Good job choosing a replacement exercise for your aching feet. Did you check the wear on your sneakers? If you have not replaced them in a while and you run great distances, that could be some of the problem.

Hello. I'm new to SP but loving it so far. I started running last fall and got up to 8 miles but my feet are giving me grief. I haven't ran more than 3 miles a couple of times in the last week or so. I am headed to the gym to use my membership today at lunch. It's been a while. I'm planning on 30 minutes elliptical. I'm getting so motivated reading all these posts, maybe I'll squeeze in 45 minutes!

Welcome, LIN1111. I know you can lose the weight because I have only been on this site since 5/8/2012 and I lost 4 # the 1st month (was at 153) and when I weighed myself today for the weekly weigh-in, I was down to 146.
I strongly suggest that you track all your daily meals, drink the 8 glasses of H2O a day (helps to stem hunger), and get in another 15 min. of exercise while you watch TV. I have found great luck in just those 3 changes to my daily plans.
