Teams Who Are All Waiting to Meet YOU!
I love my treadmill and use it for most of my cardio. Got it used thru Craigslist a few years ago. Its a decent one, I think, and it suits me. So it looks like this is a good team for me. I like that it seems fairly active. So many Spark Teams look like ghost towns!
I'm working on increasing my running endurance. I'm careful to not overdo it - but I'm happy with the progress I'm making. I do plenty of walking, and try to mix it up with inclines.
I know many people prefer running outside, and the treadmill gives a different workout, but I enjoy it. I like to read (Kindle app on a tablet) while on the treadmill. That helps me block out everything else, just concentrate on my movement and the story in front of me. Otherwise I tend to think about other things I could/should be doing, and it turns into a willpower struggle.
The thing that makes me prefer the treadmill is its climate controlled. Rain or shine, very hot or too chilly, there is no excuse. Not saying I'm totally against walking outside - but I'm in GA where we have 'summer' temps from about April-October, so being out there is kind of unpleasant!
