Welcome.
I love the Galloway plans - I used it for my first Half Marathon.

There are many plans out there. Just review and see what works best for you.
Best wishes!

Welcome! I have been using the C25K (Couch to 5K) plan to help prepare me for 5K. You can find the program here on Spark or google it & you will find it. If you have a smartphone, there are apps for the program too that are good as well or just use an ipod & go to itunes & download the program to your ipod. Either way, you will find something to help you train. The program works as I was always a walker in the 5K but since I have been training, I can now run up to 27 min. without stopping! Just a few more min. & I will be able to run the 5K!

Good luck!
