I know exactly what you're going through!! I broke my knee and was out of commission for a while. Just take it one day at a time. Do weight training to build your muscle mass back up, and increase your running/walking by at least 1 or 2 minutes every couple days. The strength training will help your body support the rest of your actions. If it starts to hurt stop cause you don't want to re-injure yourself. Also do 5 minutes of warm-up then stretch then continue your running/walking/strength training and make sure you do a cool down and stretch afterward as well. If you do these things on a regular basis along with proper diet with plenty of protein you'll be up to par in no time, that's how i did it!

Hey everyone. Im BelovedPandora and I love working out. I just overcame an injury that put me out of commission for a while, not to mention a few obstacles life decided to throw my way. I find that exercise relieves tension and reduces my stress level tremendously. Not to mention, I love the way it feels when I take a deep breath after a run or circuit training session. If you have any tips on how to extend my running distance, please let me know. I want to get up to running 5 miles eventually. Right now I'm back at one and pushing to advance. If anyone wants a work out partner in the Stafford area, please let me know. Although I will warn you, I might be going to basic training soon so it will be for 2 months at the most.
