Welcome, and congradulations on deciding to lose weight young! I am trying and I am almost 50 (it really is harder). This is the right place. In just a few weeks of actually tracking what I eat-everything gets weighed and tracked, I do the work outs too, most of the time I do more because I love it on my treadmill and walking my dogs.
