I agree, MA training should get the mind, body and spirit for total benefit. I apologize if I miss quote but....
it is never to late to be what you might have been!

I may not be there yet but I'm closer than I was yesterday.

I got tired of starting over and working back to where I was, so I have stopped giving up!

Thnx Kaiya.

It all seems so long ago. LOL Ive also included Yoga and Qigong to help with internal health. Im also a practicing Buddhist so Meditate regularly.
I think its importatnt for MA to be well rounded.

Hello to all,

Im new to SP. Trying to lose the 30 lbs I joined after health probs & car accident a few yrs ago.
I did a few yrs of TKD as a kid. Then in 95 got into Chinese Kenpo (Tracy). It was like coming home. My Sifu also was a Kung Fu stylist, so I embraced that as well. LOL I made it to Green belt and was ready to test for Brown. I had to stop due to an emergency heart prob in 98. I still practice on my own, and am looking into finishing up with Mr. Tracy with DVDs & Video testing.
I was an AOK State Champion in 95 & 96 in Forms. A Local, Regional, & State AAU Chinese MA Champion in 95 & 96 in Forms, Weapons, & Fighting.
Im a MMA fan from as far back as its beinning. Yes Im "older". LOL But Im still kicking, LITERALLY!
