welcome to the site. You will certainly find a community here who will support and advise you and I've never found anyone to be judgmental at all.
my advice to start would be to set yourself little achievable goals - eg start by just tracking your food - don't necessarily worry about whether it's in the right calorie count for a week or so - just get used to tracking it.
makes sure you get your 8 glasses of water a day too.
then you can starty calorie adjusting and making sure you are within your set target of calories.
small steps one after another lead to success but trying to change everything all at once can be overwhelming.
