Hi I am so glad to join a work out forum of culture. We have a "unique shape" and very different target areas that are a challenge to the black culture. Ill just be frank. I was a Marine and I had to work out twice as much as other women who were not black to maintain my neat and lean shape. Our dermis is different and even how we store fat. I learned this over the years and now I know it takes a different type of routine for me and I am seeing results. I was trapped at a size 18-22 for years after I got off active duty and now I am about a 10/12 and I want to slim down to a seven. That is my target goal. I know what to do and how to do it now.
