As you can tell my my current progress bar, I am still a work in progress. I have previously lost 10 pounds but that is it. I will say that consistency is the key. Use the site to check in an stay motivated. In the beginning you may not see much of a change on the scale but you are building a foundation, getting stronger from the inside. I have been working out consistenly for the past 6 weeks. So far I have lost 1 pound ( I need to work on my food consumption). However I have lost an inch off my waist, half inch from my thighs and 1/4 inch on my calves. I have also increased my stamina and I can now complete 4 miles in under an hour. I suspect that as I get stronger with my jogging I will see better returns.
Hi Cancersweet, I think you're going to find that there is no one secret and that we all have found what works best for us. I did best when I tracked my food and drank water like I should (I've yet to make it to 8 glasses a day - even on the says I exercise). Also, check out the secrets of success under the community tab. Other sparkers have posted all sorts of suggestions of what helped them.
The important thing is to never give up - you'll have to keep trying until you find that combination that works best for you and that you can make a lifestyle.
Psalms 34:7 - Delight your self in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Before you ask God for Anything, remember to first thank him for Everything
Ladies, I need to know your secret. My goal is to lose 50 pounds by July. Okay, stop laughing. Honest I would like to at least lose half of that amount, but it seem that I don't have the strength to get there. What can I do to get my self motivated. I walk for thirty minutes each day or at least three days per week. Only eat sweets on weekend, but the rest of the week I do well. What is the key? Thanks.
