Hello Everyone! My name is Amisha and I am a 27 year old mother of a 20 month old baby boy. I've always struggled with my weight but never this bad. Things got worse after my pregnancy. I put on 84 pounds during my pregnancy and lost 40lbs within 2 weeks after delivery. The rest has been an up and down yo yo effect with little results. I've been hovering around 250lbs for a while now (although I carry it well and most people wouldn't even think that I weighed 180lbs even though I am only 5'3"). It's time to start a new healthy life and I want to be here for my son and have more energy to keep up with him! I kickstarted my plan with a detox & cleanse. I've been doing that for a week along with working out and I've lost 8lbs in this first week before I even started sparkpeople. So hopefully I can get back to around 160lbs (my high school, cheerleader weight) so that I can start looking and feeling great. I wish you all success on your journeys! Wish me luck.
