Hi,

I have the same pain, my doctor said it was the nerves healing. It should go away in a few months. The first time it happen, I thought what is going on. Lets us hope it goes away soon.

Hello Everybody,
I was diagnosed with Invasive DCIS Stage 2 breast cancer in mid November of this year. I had a lumpectomy on Dec 5 and also had 13 lymph nodes removed. Only 3 of the 13 had cancer in them and the margins of the mass came back clean.
My question is, has anyone else had a sensation of red hot needles in the armpit after lymph node removal? It is making me crazy! My doc said it should go away in a couple of months, but I would like to hear from someone that experienced it and has had it go away!

Thanks, and looking forward to being a member of this group.
