You all probably think I'm crazy! My picture didn't show up on those last 2 messages but I figured out how to post it and now it is also on those last posts! Computers are not my forte! Anyway! This is a picture of me!
Oops. It didn't work!
I am not new but I am trying to put my picture ln my spark page. I am really new at that and I am using windows 8 which is really different. Please bear with me!
I track food in nutrition tracker, then note times of meals and any symptoms in my journal.

Happy tums are worth the effort!
Thanks for the warm welcome and suggestions!
I have ulcerative colitis and IBS. I track my food and add a "note" to that day if I have any adverse reactions that day. I know for sure that red meat and dairy both cause me issues, but recently chicken has been giving me problems as well.

I have IBS ad have had it for many years. Like Linda, I can eat certain things one time and have problems the next. I do know that when I take my Digestive Advantage and have 28-30 grams of fiber a day I do much better.
Welcome to the team. I do not have Crohn's but I do have IBS. I have had it since the 70's in college. I know what you mean about the symptoms. They are so terrible because on the "bad days" you don't even feel like you can leave the house. I do monitor my foods but sometimes a food will bother me one day and not the next.

Good morning! I have had Crohn's for 25 years and am currently in remission. I had a small bowel resection in 2000. Since then I have had many different health complications and have come back to SP to document diet and other health data..
I wanted to know if anyone documents things like cramping, diarrhea, and pain along with their food logging. I didn't want to reinvent the wheel if anyone already has "food" entries for these things. I am taking an immune suppressant for another condition and do not have a handle on the foods that aggravate the Crohn's.
I will start using SP to document any GI symptoms I have. I am trying to keep all my logging in one place. Thanks in advance!
