I kept a Journal in the past to see what my triggers are. I wrote what I ate, how much, when I ate and what the results were stomach troubles or not. For me my triggers seem to be certain fruits and veggies. I hope this helps good luck.

I have the same problem. helpforibs.com really helped me. You should check it out. She had tips for what to eat to to come out of an attack & what/how to easy to avoid an attack. Good stuff. I used their acacia fiber for a couple years. Was great. Now I just make sure to get my shakeology in & avoid a couple trigger foods & I'm good. I avoid leafy greens unless cooked & raw brocoli.

I was just diagnosed with IBS and i've been haveing problem going to the bathroom and overall not feeling good since middle school. the current job i have now (which is not my chosen career at all) is what really triggers it. getting up at 5am is just not what my body can handle. i'm still trying to figure out what foods really trigger my IBS and so far EVERYTHING. my wonder boyfriend/fiance' got me some probiotic digestive enzyme vitamins and i'm also on Bentyl (also known as Dicyclmine.)

I would love to get some advice on diet, i think fiber gives me cramps, what about gluten free? sigh......please help.
