It does help to know that others have the same problem. The more I talk about my problems, the more people I find have it too. I don't have fybro or anything else. It does seem like they go hand in hand. Shakeology has helped my sister and she has fybro and mild IBS. I am going to message you some info about it. I added you as a friend! Amanda
Yes, thank you very much. I would love the ingredient list & anything else you care to share with me. I have found a kindred spirit. It's horrible when you feel you are the only one, especially dealing something embarrassing like IBS. Do you mind if I ask if you have other "syndromes" that can be found with IBS, such as fibromyalgia or CF? Valerie
Sounds like my story. Not fun. The Dr.'s that I saw weren't any help either. They ran a bunch of tests to rule things out and then told me I have IBS. Figure it out. I did some research and first found Heather's IBS website. I ordered her soluble fiber and started using it as she suggested. Made a huge difference, but still I had the occasional attacks. Then I found Shakeology and decided to give it a try too. It helped even more, so much so that I was able to stop the soluble fiber that I was taking from Heather's. A new flavor of shakeology just came out that is vegan. My body likes that even more and I have noticed a difference in how my abdomen feels....not quite so much bloating/pressure that I always had a little of even on a good day. There are so many people out there that don't know what to do and are stuck at home...I was one of them. Afraid to go to the gym or to the store. Hard to lose weight. I decided to be a coach for beachbody so I can help other people with IBS. One of my friends has IBS -D, the opposite of me and it helped her too. I was totally skeptical about it, but am so glad that I tried it out. I am going to a Zumba class for the first time tonight to celebrate my birthday! I would have never dared to do that 2 years ago! If you want the ingredient list or any other info, I would be glad to share.
Hi everyone, This is embarrassing, but I figured this group would be the one to ask. I am having a problem going to the bathroom. I go days without a bowel movement. I don't know what to do. My doctor says to eat more fiber, if I eat more fiber all I get is gassy pain & flatulence. I sometimes find myself eating anything I can find, just hoping I will go to the bathroom, not helpful when trying to lose weight. She suggested I take half of a women's gentle laxtative every other day. The problem is, once I can go (this sounds bad) I sometimes mess myself! I'm afraid to leave the house. Does anyone have any advice for what has worked for them?
