I've found SparkPeople again after a couple years. I just found this group today. I'm so glad! I have had IBS for close to 10 years at least and I am really struggling with it these days as I'm trying to get healthy and fit and the foods that I like that are healthy aren't good for IBS sufferers and I don't really eat that much in the first place. I am a really picky eater, and almost everything I eat is bad for IBS. I am really struggling to maintain a healthy diet, or any food at all, but not deal with the gas bloating and diahhrea it is causing! I never paid much attention to my IBS before and I was told I had severe anxiety and depression. Now I believe it was the IBS causing me to get anxious, and also the doctors making me think it was worse than it was. I have 3 kids and an amazing husband and haven't taken any pills for anxiety or depression since I found out I was pregnant with my first just 4 years ago. I have a long road ahead of me to get healthy - so I'm glad to have found support from people who get me!
