we have a couple of things in commin. I too joined spark years before but have not been serious. Also I cant find the motivation to exercise even though I am resently diagnoise with diabetes. Stick with this team and join others good luck to you and I hope we both can kick it in and lose it.
My Name is Jay, I just turned 30 in August and decided it was time to get my health in order. I have struggled for years trying to finding the right diet and searching for the perfect support group. I joined Spark People in 2008, but had no idea how to use the site to reach my goals ( you can say I was not ready). However this is the year of change for me I have switched careers, moved out of my childhood area, stop smoking and entered a relationship with the love of my life. My reason for joining Spark People is gain a supportive system that will help me in accomplishing my goals. My goal is to lose 65 pounds before I turn 31 next August. I also want to exercise a min of 3 times a week, right now I have no motivation to do anything other than work and sleep and its been this way since I quit smoking. I enjoy reading, internet surfing, bike riding, jogging, walking, swimming and socializing.
