All I can offer is to NOT eat certain foods when you are upset, emotionally and/or physically and you will have fewer episodes. I would then eat comfort foods, but nothing with fat, fried or fiber.

I'm still trying to get the hang of using this SP. I am currently a paralegal student and hardly have time to do anything but homework.
I was diagnosed with IBS last year. I have had to play around with food to see what aggravates and what are my safety foods.
Glad to be among others that understand.
