I just wanted to send a quick note and say WELCOME! You will probably get several. I have been on Spark for a few months now but haven't been using it to its full potential. I too am almost 40. I will be 40 in June 2012. I have a goal to be "FIT AT 40" I completely get your feelings of not wanting to fail AGAIN! One of the things I am just coming to terms with is that you get what you give. On the weeks I watch what I am eating and I drink my water and do my walking I am successful. On the weeks that I drink soda, and watch TV I feel sluggish and never drop a pound.

I encourage you to read as many postings, blogs, news letters as you can stand lol. You never know when someone is going to say what you need to hear.

I am not quite 40 (not till May), I feel more like 50 though! I have been so overweight and unhealthy for so long that I am terrified of failing in my attempts to change that. I want to be a good example to my kids and live a long, active life with my wonderful man. I have to succeed if I wanna acheive either of those goals. I hope and pray through support of others like me, I will NOT fail! Thank you and God bless you all.
