I am currently doing two official SP challenges.
SP Official Stress Busting Challenge (in week TWO), and SP Official Better Sleep Challenge (in week TWO)

Here are the changes I have made so far:
1. Planning meals on weekly basis
2. Drinking 2.2 L of H2O per day
3. Keeping fruit in bowls throughout my house
4. Tracking my food calories
5. Working out every day
6. Eating 5 fruits or vegetables each day

I am working on new workouts and I have a 1200 calorie a day diet. TIME TO DO THIS!

I said I needed to find an active group that was going to absolutely kick my butt and force me to want to go to the gym 5 days a week and 3500 calories a week is definitely that. I'm halfway through this week so I'll really have to start next week off strong but I see it as 500 calories a day or 700 calories per gym session.

For a bit of an intro I'm currently sitting at 160 lb right now and looking to be at 130 by July 1st and then stay somewhere between 115-125. Not exactly sure where I want to be yet because I know muscle weighs more and I'm 5'4 so 120 is "technically" the recommended but I want to see where I'm at once I hit 130 to make that final goal/adjustment.

But any recommendations for how many minutes I show be setting weekly would definitely help because right now I'm assuming for most its roughly 10-12 hours a week at the gym?

Hey Everyone. My name is Andrea and I am new to the team. I am 25 and just recently engaged. I want to lose at least 50 lbs before my big day in a year and one day :D I have a hard time with motivation and depression, so that derails me most of the time. I am hoping that this wedding is enough motivation to stay on track, but I do need some help. I have an "all or nothing" mentality that I am trying to get away from. So! I am ready to go!

Hi I'm Amanda
I'm a married mom and step mom I'm 29 years old. I have one daughter two step sons and a step daughter. step kids are in their teens.
I recently started to burn more calories then what sparks people told me I should do a wopping 500. I did 315 calorie burn all on monday during zumba.
I saw this group and thought hummm maybe I can get triple my work out minutes if all these people are doing so.

Hi -- just joined this team today -- what a great idea!!! OK, how to burn 1,000 calories a day?! I'm a rower, and can burn about 660 in a hour on the rowing machine... but any ideas on how to supplement that would be most appreciated!

Hi everyone! I joined a week ago and this team is perfect for me. In order to get to where I'm going :) I just need to be sure I'm moving more (I sit at a computer most of the day) and making progress toward my fitness goals. My eating is super antioxidant-rich and I feel like I have that down for the most part. I am seriously impressed with many of your achievements and motivation! Hi, I'm new to this team, but excited by the challenge to meet these goals! I'm trying to lose that dreaded last 10-15 lbs. I'm just finishing a local weight loss challenge next week & plan to have lost 40 lbs by the final weigh in on 8/20/11. I don't know if I'll win or not, but I'm happy with my results! I may take a week to relax somewhat & maintain (no gain) because I've worked really hard this last 6 months. But after a short break, I'll be ready to get down to my goal weight & I look forward to being a part of this team!

Hi everyone my name is Mary i have been here is SP for 3 weeks now and i am so glad i joined.
I wan to be a part of this team i am from Toronto and a i am a single mom. I gained a lot of weight during pregnancy and I thought by now i would have lost the weight. My daughter is 16 months I was hoping to weight. So i am joining this team to lose weight and be fit , So far i am power walking and i adding in jogging . This weekend was not a good weekend as far as eating properly and exercising its the long weekend and there rib fest that i went to.Starting Aug 1 2011 i will be exercising and eating healthy and focusing on losing weight. I do need motivation.

Hi everyone!

I am a 46 year-old happy wife and mother of two grown children. (DS-22 and DD-19)
When my daughter left for college last fall, I had some serious empty nest feelings. I thought this might be a good time to focus on my health needs and by January of this year, I had recommitted to SP as a part of every day and my whole life.

As of this past Monday, I've lost over 45 lbs., which I have done by confronting the reasons why I overeat and making a promise to myself to exercise 10 minutes a day, no matter what. (I've only skipped three days since January - woo hoo!)

I'm lucky enough to have the time to commit to exercise, and have built a fitness level which will support the 3500 calorie a week goal.

Let's do this!

Hey all. My name is kimmi and I'm 23. I work ten hours days and love to just go home and relax. I joined a weight loss competition with a friend and her family, but got very sick the first two months. I kind of gave up before I started. At the moment I am working on my longest exercise streak which is 2 weeks every day. I love making new friends and welcome anyone to add, message, or just hit me up on my spark page.
