Hello everyone! I am excited to have found this forum! I used to belong to the Firm Ya Yas forum years ago when I was in my twenties/early thirties, and by combining that support network with healthy eating and doing the FIRM videos, I lost a lot of weight.
Somehow, I got off track. Now I want to find my way back! All my FIRM videos are now dusted off, organized, and ready to go, I'll need to start slowly- I'm a few months shy of 40 now and have had some health issues. This time around, I'll need to concentrate on abdominal strength. Two pregnancies and several abdominal surgeries have resulted in a sagging mid-section that is becoming painful. I also have some issues with ligaments in one ankle.
I know the FIRM (and SparkPeople!) can get me where I need to be. My favorite series is the BBS2 with Allie, Jen, Emily, Nancy, et al, but I also like the Transfirmer series and many of the older ones from the Anna Benson years. High impact aerobics for me, however, are not an option.
