Welcome to the team. It is a great start to dust off those Firm videos. How is it going? I see it's been a over a week since you first posted. Have you done any videos yet? Let us know if we can support you in any way.

hello Kristin. I love the old firm videos but I do not do high impact aerobics. I use a mini trampoline during the cardio portions and I also use the mini trampoline as my step. when i don't have my trampoline available I just do low low impact moves. It still keeps my heart rate up. A friend also suggested that if a video is too difficult to complete just do a portion of the video and gradually increase your time using the video. good luck on your fitness routine.

Welcome, Kristin. If you want to avoid high impact and focus on abs, you might want to add the yoga and pilates workouts to your regimen.

Hi Kristin. Good for you that you want to get back on track. Start with small goals to reach your ultimate goal. It will take some time, but you will get there. I love those FIRM workouts you mentioned, along with all the others they have. Best of luck to you! emoticon emoticon

Hello everyone! I am excited to have found this forum! I used to belong to the Firm Ya Yas forum years ago when I was in my twenties/early thirties, and by combining that support network with healthy eating and doing the FIRM videos, I lost a lot of weight.

Somehow, I got off track. Now I want to find my way back! All my FIRM videos are now dusted off, organized, and ready to go, I'll need to start slowly- I'm a few months shy of 40 now and have had some health issues. This time around, I'll need to concentrate on abdominal strength. Two pregnancies and several abdominal surgeries have resulted in a sagging mid-section that is becoming painful. I also have some issues with ligaments in one ankle.

I know the FIRM (and SparkPeople!) can get me where I need to be. My favorite series is the BBS2 with Allie, Jen, Emily, Nancy, et al, but I also like the Transfirmer series and many of the older ones from the Anna Benson years. High impact aerobics for me, however, are not an option.
