I'm sure the vertigo makes it tough to be active, but are you still able to do workouts from a sitting position? There are lot of great chair workouts that Coach Nicole has posted on SP. Here's a link to one. If you search for chair exercises, you'll get a list of more videos.
Good luck on getting healthier!

we are your friends here, for sure - not the name-callers!

First of all let me tell you something: If they call you names, they are NOT friends!!! No friend would call another one names, no matter the size and shape!!! I think it's time to change friends!
We're here for you to support you!

I am so sorry that your "friends" call you names. You HAVE fat you are not FAT. Fat does not make you who you are. You have made the first step to change. When you are down come here for motivation and support when you are excited come here to share and celebrate!
That is terrible that your friends call you fat names, not cool.
Just take it one day at a time doll and don't be too hard on yourself when you mess up. Those are the two hardest things I had to learn along my journey.
Glad I found this site, hoping it will finally be my motivation to move and lose. I am so inactive do to vertigo, I would like to lose 100 lbs and be in firm shape in less than a year. My friends call me fat names, I would like a friend with common goals and interests here. Any takers?
