ARFIESMOM- Thanks. That first day wasn't a technique issue. It was that incredible soreness you get when you go from being sedentary to suddenly doing a major workout for over an hour. It was mostly gone by Monday's workout and today I only have that good feeling you get when you are finally starting to build up dormant muscles again. But I appreciate the advice.

Congrats on your progress. If your shoulders are hurting still, have your Masters coach check your technique. Better to correct early than risk injury.

I am finally back in after a 3 week chest cold. Did 2000 yards easy today.

Yes. First day of a Masters Swimming practice. Not sure how many yards I did; enough to result in super sore arms!

I haven't swam in so long, to work out, but we've hit the pool a few times this summer....when I have someone along to help with the kids, I try to get a few laps in...We don't have an actual lap pool where I am now, so it's been tricky trying to swim again! I've thought about going up to the college and seeing if they would allow me to swim laps.

I finally had a little extra time this morning, didn't have to get a kid ready for school, and got 3200 yards in today!! I'm so excited!!

I swam today and am up to 2300 yds. I think if I had more time and didn't have to get kids ready for school, I could do a little more. I wish the pool would open earlier here on the weekends.

I did! I am so proud I woke up at 5:30 and went swimming before I had to get my littlle boy ready for school. 45 min 1800 yds.

Today was my day off.

I swam on Saturday, but got in the pool so late they closed after about 5 minutes. 250 yards.

Swim again on Tuesday.

Update: Swam on Wednesday 2/6/13: Gotta find a better time to swim. Only had 15 minutes today, swam 750 yds,

Well I will keep posting here ......... LOL

Today I did 90 minutes in the pool 55 of constant water aerobics and 35 of swimming
and treading water, a total of 90 minutes pool exercise .... also talked to teacher a long time~

Today I spent 85 minutes at the club in the pool moving continuously, including swimming,

water aerobics, and not stopping! I was definitely winded, and then hit the hot tub and oh so

delicious, great way to start my day!

Just for today ..... it really is one day at a time
