But we have to go to an ice cream social on Thursday (manditory), the 30th. At 2pm!! I'm not looking forward to that! Hopefully I won't eat anything!!

I've been enjoying a week of my hubby surprising us with some vacation time. Its very helpful for those days when my twins want to stay outside & I'm ready to relax after getting baked in the sun on playground duty! But he's ruined their bedtime all week! So our mornings have been hectic from running late & sluggishly. I've also enjoyed full access to have him as my one & only favorite workout buddy. We know how to push each other best. A trainer said that we're "bad-a$$" in the gym the other day. Lol! Today at school is our Field Day so it will be so wild & crazy, especially since 3 out of 6 lunch aides haven't been showing up all week!

I have a confession...I ate pizza & Brownies with my family yesterday, it was my First pizza & Brownies since January!!! I feel so guilty!! And bloated!!

Good morning!!!

Going to be a hot day today, in teh 80's!! We go from cold and rainy to heat!!! My abs are sore today!! I do love the workout but I think I've been doing too hard, to gung ho and how I can hardly move!! LOL!! I'm not going to stop though!!

Today is my DH 50th Birthday!! I can't believe it! Where does the time go??

Hi Lyn!!

I haven't tried Hip Hop Abs but it looks kinda fun. I don't usually attempt dance moves or even class cardio/aerobics or Zumba cuz I guess I'm just shy & uncoordinated, but I do prefer some hardcore sweating in the weight room with the guys! Lol! Sometimes they stop & gawk nowadays.

Confession: I've been slacking on my jumping jacks. Besides recovering from a stomach virus now, I was already slacking. Sowwy. :-(
I guess I've let my routine get so intense that I do literally rest between sets instead of jumping jacking like I used to...I may switch to warming up & cooling down with them instead & I may not do as many as I'd gotten up to when we started up the 200+ forum. I've also been carving out my own 6-pack with lots of hanging leg raises where I bring my knees up to my chest while I hang (seems most effective in building the lower abs where I have a V-shape showing above my hip bones!!! Me, a woman who had full-term & large twins & never thought I'd see ab muscles on anyone besides my hubby!!?? Lol!)

I hope u have a great rest of the week!! Keep hip-hopping those abs!! Shaun T is Awesome!!

Good morning.

I went to the doctor yeserday. I have bronchitis and an upper respiratory infection. She check my ears, nose and throat, says I'm red everywhere and have a lot of mucus. Boy I feel attractive! LOL!!! But no fever. I can't exercise for 3 - 5 days, depending on the cough and how I feel. Doctor says I probably got it from the kids at work.

Hi Lyn!!
My allergies have been driving me nuts all week!! Since I do playground duty, I've gotten pollen in my eyes so much that I had to get the expensive OTC eye drops with antihistamine in it. I really need to find some sunglasses I'm comfortable wearing. My workout intentions are for after my workshift. My allergies seem to bother me & drain my energy as soon as I wake up. My sneezes hurt so much, I get pressure headaches. Anyway!!! Lol!!

Hi,
I am new to the group! I discovered this group when looking for something to motivate me to get off the couch. After a long period of time, I completed my educational requirements for an accounting designation and my reward from the start was to take a tropical vacation. So a couple of weeks ago we packed up and headed to Cuba for a week, from September to the end of March I was really focused and very active...even in Cuba I took morning walks, watched what I ate and did a whole lot more than lie on the beach sipping cocktails. Arriving back home seems to have put me into a tail spin! I do not seem to have direction or motivation anymore...so I am inwardly reflecting on things and devising new goals, one is to do a 5k run. I am mediocare with my fitness level, so with training for running I am looking for other ways to get me moving and as challenges helped increase my activity levels the past few months, I am looking for new ones to get me going! This one should help...

Yes, it is so sad what happened. We live in a crazy world. Can't go to school, can't send our kids to school, can't see a movie, now can't run a marathon. I wonder what the world will be like for my grandkids.

Now I have another reason that I want the end of the year to come faster!! The head cook and another cook are not speaking, they speak through me!! The head cook ask me to ask the other cook a question and visa versa. There are only 4 ladies in this kitchen!!!! How old are we!!!!!!?????

Good morning!!

It's a beautiful morning!! We slept with the windows opened! I hope Spring is finally here!!! I love this kind of weather!!

We are finally taking my mom and MIL out for their birthday dinners!! Their birthday's were 3 weeks ago, Everything finally fell into place!!

I will be late checkin in tomorrow. My hubby has to go for a stress test, I'm going along just in case.

One of my older son's friends is getting married on the 20th of April. Last night my son was asked to be a groomsman, cutting it a bit close!! LOL!! I told Adam to find out about the dress for the wedding. He is in another friends wedding in May, so I thougth if he needed a tux we could kill 2 birds with one stone. So he text his friend, his friend said contact the bride to be. So Adam did, they are wearing kakki pants, a bow tie and suspenders. Adam says it's a DR. WHO WEDDING!!!! The groom wanted a Star war wedding but it changed I guess! I would love to see this one!!!

Tamara - I missed you too!! It's so good to hear from you my friend! I would love to get a trampline too!! They look fun!!

Hi Lyn!! I'm back from an abrupt stop to my SP access all week long!! I missed u!! I tried to keep track of my jumping jacks when I remembered. My husband is convinced we don't share our data usage plan but I'm pretty sure it was his fault we went over our limit. And this past week was too busy for me to do what I've done in the past, park myself somewhere with free Wifi. Anyway, here I am!! Still playing catch-up with my posts!! We have a snow day today, so now we have a 3 day work week. I wish this snow would've come on Wed or Thurs. when I have to be head cook!!
My hubby and youngest son woke up with the flu bug. My older son had it Saturday. It only lasted 24 hours but its a long 24 hours!! I just hope I don't get it!!

Good morning!!

Day has started off well, I had a 3.3 pound loss this morning!! I guess the Chinese food is out of my system!! I won't be eating that anytime soon!!

It's supposed to snow today. We had little flurries yesterday, no accumulation. We had a meeting at the school I work out. It was with the police. What to do if a gunman got into the school. It's so scary and a shame the world has come to this. I hope it never happens again!!

Hi Lyn!! Thanks for being such a cheerleader for me about my evening at the Mexican restaurant!! I was amazed at myself, considering I was offered margaritas & beer several times & it was close enough that I could smell it...maybe that's why I didn't drink it. It smelled too strong. I think I've detoxed my body from the bad stuff & now its not appealing...not sure.

Anyway, glad u drank lots of water after eating Chinese food. I learned last year that Chinese food makes me too bloated & gassy that I don't need it more than once a year!! Lol!! Its kinda odd because my Mom used to cook Filipino food when I was growing up. Now she's nice enough to put lots of veggies into the dishes she sends me home with. I see her 3 times a week, she's only 10 min away. And she likes to keep my girls on 2 of those days so I can workout at the gym. WooHoo!!

We're still on Spring Break, but expecting Rain for the rest of the week!! We've got a few indoor activities planned. Kinda bummed cuz we didn't get to climb the mountain yet! But we're also dealing with allergy season affecting my girls. My mom passed me her bad allergy issues & I passed mine onto my poor babies!! Achooo!! Oops!!

The scale showed a 2 pound gain this morning. I know it's from the Chinese food we had last night, all that sodium. I'll be drinking lots of water today!!

Hey Lyn!! We're on Spring Break over here! Went to the zoo today, seemed like all of central Arkansas had the same idea! We waited outside in line for almost an hour!! The other evening, I was invited to a birthday gathering (for a female friend I met at the gym) at my old favorite Mexican restaurant & I managed to eat healthy & drink plenty of water with fresh lemon & lime juice that I squeezed in, while everyone pigged out & drank lots of alcohol around me!! That was a big test for me since I usually drink a big mug of beer at that place with a large cheese dip!! I passed with flying colors!! Yay!! Off to the gym with my sweetheart while my girls hang out with my mother-in-law. There's a rowing machine calling my name!! Lol!

Good morning and Happy St. Pat's Day!!!

Had a lot of fun yesterday!! My mom was upset cuz I spend and she puts it, "so much money on her" I didn't but she things so!! She only won $2 out of the $20 I spent in the scratch off lottery. Bummer!! But she had fun anyway!!
Mom also got a free B-day dessert at Chili's. I had 2 spoonfuls of hot brownie with ice cream and let her have the rest. She was in heaven!! LOL!!!

DH and I went out to breakfast this morning. Had wester omlet and a mocha. So I'm going to drink lots of water today and not eat till supper!! LOL!!

Today is my best friend's Birthday, my mom! She is 75 years young!! Today when we go out the whole day is on me!! I love her to bits!! I bought her an old fashion peanut cake, some body stray that she likes and some Lottery scratch off tickets!

Not much going on today. Same ole same ole. But we are going out to eat tonight at a German restaurant. Hope I can find something I like and that's healthy!!

Good morning!!

Well I ate pretty good at the party yesterday. I had a cup of soup before I left the house (I didn't know what kind of food the restaurant had) at the restaurant I had a veggie wrap with a side order of zucchini and squash. I did have 2 bites of cake. No supper. It could have been a lot worse!! The food there looked amazing!!!
At the party, my cousins ex son in law was there, he is from England, he has the gorgous accent!! LOL!! We talked about Britcoms. He said I did know my stuff!! He did say check out Mrs. Brown's boys, Only fools and Horses (his favorite) and Ab fab. I told him I watched a little of each, didn't really get into Ab Fab. He said you have to watch a few of the episodes to get into it. He was fun to talk too!! Oh, he also new Clegg, from Last of the Summer wine!! Me met him in a bar in England, started talking to him. Peter said to him do you know who I am? You don't want an autograph? Kevin said no, drinking a beer with him was good enough. They became friends. Kevin has many letters and things from Peter Salis!! Pretty cool!!!

Good morning!!!

Today I have a surprise 70th Birthday party for my Aunt to go to. It's at a restaruant I have never been to or heard of. The don't have nutrition info on their web site and I don't know if there will be a buffet or what. So I'm planning on eating a piece of fruit and some soup before we go. Hopefully that will help keep me full so I don't eat a lot!!

So glad to hear Miranda is feeling better!! Yeah!!! I kinda miss movie night here. I used to like watching kid movies! No sex or violence in them!! Well, maybe a small bit on violence, you know what I mean!!

Thanks for the well-wishes for my youngest, Miranda, she's actually doing much better today! Yay! All of my girls are working on eating a whole pizza as I type! Its our family movie night & they always request pizza! I just ate a delicious salad! We're watching TinkerBell's newest movie called Secret of the Wings.
