His dad bought the A frame My parents and I built. and that was part of the original 180 acres . Could not have asked for some one who was invested in the valley any more.

It's been 2.5 years since my sextuple bypass surgery. Every day on this side of the dirt is a good day!

Hi!
Good news: I am alive after two years of living with a 'pig valve' and it seems to work for me pretty well. My doctor informed me that this valves last about 15 to 18 years, than I need to have it replaced, that means I am good till I am 89. I am happy!
Now I am bragging: I run 3 times per week, play ping pong, go hiking and canoeing. I also do lots of bicycling and training for a 'Grand Fondo'.
Life is good.
But it also have it ups and downs. emoticon

Each day is a gift, enjoy it.

Last month, I celebrated my 3 years since bypass surgery! I celebrated by walk/running a 5k and had a lot of fun.

I wanted to start the topic on sharing good news because, I have had some bouts of depression following my surgery, and consciously work to create a happy home, and surround myself with optimistic people, messages, etc..
Don't get me wrong, I have some down days, but mostly up ones! I would love to here anything your are celebrating, or any good news you have to share!
