Hello fellow survivors,

I had my first heart attack at age 53. They were able to cath only one artery out of seven blocked. I under went heart by pass surgery and got six by passes to go along with my stent. My infarction % was 20%. That all happened the week of Oct. 23,2006. Returned to work Dec 17 and was in very good spirits. Jan 13th 2007 I had another heart attack and under went a series of angioplasty and ended up with 8 stents all together. This past February I was hospitalized again and had 2 more stents put in. The good news that came out of that last episode is my infraction % increased to 50%. So now I got my fingers crossed that I can move forward with my fitness and just maybe return to work.
