HI! My name is Mary. I applied for a home loan modification almost exactly a year ago. I am currently in my SECOND Forebearance Program with them, and on probation for 4 payments, at which time (again) they say that upon successful completion, I will qualify for and be sent terms for a home loan mod! I have reduced all of my utilities and put all my energy vampires on power cords that get turned off before I leave for work, and when not in use. I don't use my heater unless icicles are forming on the end of my nose. I don't own an air conditioner. I have to send the loan people evidence of my income every 2 weeks, and I'm supposed to send them my expenses. I don't think I've sent them my expenses in the same form twice in all this time. I'm just not very good at organizing it. Hence, it's almost tax day, too, and I've procrastinated until last week and am now scrambling with that too! I definitely need a central place where I can see examples and figure out how to organize on o' them thar budget thingamabobs that is easy to maintain, and easy to print out!
One problem that I've incountered here is that the budget is 'monthly', and I get paid bi-monthly. I find it distracting to see my monthly allotment of money when I know it's not really there.
