My goal is to lose the 10 lbs I gained in the 2nd half of 2008, and then to lose the last 10 to reach my goal weight. I'd LOVE to have this done by May for my little sisters wedding. And also to start up an exercise routine since I pretty much stopped exercising after a back injury 2 years ago.

Angel I love your goals, that is so awesome! I just joined the military and hearing stuff like that really hits a special spot emoticon My goals are to be in good enough shape by the time I leave for boot camp in June to get a Physical Fitness Award that is to max out all the areas on the physical fitness test. I'd also like to weigh 120- can't lose too much I am a fire fighter in the National Guard... gotta be strong emoticon

My goal is to go from 160 to 120 by the time my husband comes back from Iraq in Dec of 2010. I also want to walk the distance from here to where he will be during the time he comes home. We have a bet going that I will be able to outrun him by the time he returns as well so I am training for that.

I love these message boards. My main long term goal is to go from 173 to 135 by June 2009. That seems realistic. I've stopped setting weekly weight loss goals, I get to obsessed with my weight and it seems the scale never drops as fast as i want it to and I give up. I'm focusing my goals on:
eating 1600cal/day
exercising 40mins/3 days a week.
I like cardio but am not will to do strength training yet. If I keep it up I should be happy with the results. I also plan to join challenges, etc. to stay motivated.

I have four main goals. My short-time goal is to lose 10 pounds by my birthday in March. The other three goals are:
1. to lose 25 more pounds by August 2009.
2. to be patient while working to make it happen.
3. to make fitness a permanent part of life.

My short term goal is to use the nutrition and fitness trackers. I'm really awful about keeping good track of what I eat and how much I exercise. Also my 30th b-day is in 2 months. I'd like to fit into my "skinny' jeans by then-they are a size smaller than what I'm wearing now.

This months short term goal is to work out at least 4-5 days a week.

A medium term goal is to lose 10-15 lbs by 1-15-2009... I should be able to lose that if I keep up my short term goal.. That's about 3 lbs a week, which is do-able..

My short term goal is to get moving, even if it's just for 10 minutes a day. (this is my major shortfall!)
